On the occasion of World Red Cross Day, St Paul Senior Secondary School organized various awareness activities to educate students about first aid, safety, and emergency preparedness. Students actively participated in demonstrations and learning sessions related to basic first aid techniques and the importance of helping others during emergencies.
Students also prepared first aid boxes and learnt about their importance, essential items, and proper usage during emergencies. The activity helped students understand how immediate care can save lives and prevent serious injuries before medical help arrives.
A special mock drill on fire safety was conducted by a unit from the local fire station. The team demonstrated the proper use of different fire extinguishers and guided students on safety measures to be followed during fire emergencies. The session was highly informative and encouraged students to remain calm, alert, and responsible in emergency situations.
The programme aimed to spread awareness about humanity, service, safety, and disaster management among students. The enthusiasm and active participation of the students made the event successful and meaningful.
