Hello, it’s time to reintroduce myself 🪿

If you’re new here — welcome! And if you’ve been here for a while, here’s a little reminder of who’s behind Soft Skill Matter.

I am Gurmeet - a soft skills coach, trainer, and a lifelong learner. Over the years, my journey has taken me through - Marketing,Training & Development, Psychology, counselling, and most importantly — working with people.

Through my work, I help individuals grow in areas like communication, confidence, emotional intelligence, self-awareness, career readiness, and personal effectiveness.

And now, I’m also bringing 1:1 mental health counselling and personal growth sessions into this space. 🤍

Because I truly believe that professional growth and personal growth go hand in hand.

So, whether you’re here to become a better communicator, build confidence, navigate your career, understand yourself better, or simply work on your well-being — you’re in the right place.

Here’s to learning, unlearning, growing, and becoming a little more you. ✨

Ever noticed how your tone, pitch, and way of speaking change depending on who you’re talking to?

That doesn’t necessarily mean you’re being fake. There’s actually a psychology behind it — Communication Accommodation Theory explains how we naturally adjust the way we communicate based on the people and situations around us.

Different versions of your communication ≠ different versions of you.
Sometimes, it’s simply adaptation, not fakeness.

Grateful to Baba Farid Group of Institutions for inviting me to be a part of their Campus Connect 2026 program 🦢

It was truly special to return as an alumna, interact with the new generation of students, reconnect with my teachers, and share the stage with students I once taught—who are now proud alumni themselves. ❤️

Some places become a part of your story forever. Grateful to be back.
