Dr. Holmes Academy - Jeeda

A free Cancer Screening and Awareness Camp was organized at Dr. Holmes Academy School, Jeeda, by Apna Punjab Foundation and World Cancer Care Society under SBI Cards and Payment Services Limited's CSR initiative, “Pehel.” A large number of people from the surrounding area participated in the camp, availed themselves of health check-ups, and received expert medical advice from specialists.
During the camp, the team of doctors educated attendees about the early symptoms of cancer, preventive measures, and the importance of timely treatment. People were encouraged to remain vigilant about their health and undergo regular medical check-ups.
On this occasion, Dr. Kulwant Singh Dhaliwal, Global Ambassador of World Cancer Care, Dr. Jagjit Singh Dhuri, S. Devinderpal Singh Rimpy, and S. Sukhwinder Singh, Chairman of Dr. Holmes Academy School, emphasized the importance of health awareness in society.
The school also made special arrangements for a sweetened water refreshment stall (Chabeel) for the visitors attending the camp, which was highly appreciated by the public.
The organizers stated that such camps are extremely beneficial for the community and assured that similar social service initiatives would continue in the future.

Our Prep wing little learners enjoyed a beautiful moral values session on “Please” and “Thank You,” helping them understand the importance of good manners in everyday life. These small words create big values for life!
