Dear All Alumni who celebrate the day!
Greetings! Hope you all are doing well.
It brings immense joy to share with you that our Alumni Association completes one successful and memorable year and steps into a new year today of our reunion on this day, Team Alumni would like to summaries the activities of the completed year in brief. Make each moment count classmates! And keep it healthy so we can meet again.
On 14th April, 2012 an Executive Committee was shaped during the first alumni meet – BATCH: 1983-84. The committee decided to establish the Alumni Association and strengthen it by meeting regularly with the prime objective of celebrating again, to organize nest meet of the alumni and to conduct certain activities for the Department and future alumni.
On the first anniversary of the Association we are happy to share that the Association has got a good number of likes and comments on Face Book and more than 80 followers on the Blog. However, we expect more number of followers as the Department has produced a huge number of alumni now widely spread within the country and abroad.
We express our deep sense of gratitude towards you all for providing us your support and joining this journey. We hope that in our future endeavors, we will strengthen and enhance our Association and its roots.
We wish and request all Alumni friends to visit, join and follow our other sources of contacts, i.e., our departmental Face Book page where you can add or get the latest updates, Association and fraternity. Many of you are in touch through these sources but we need your help in growing. You can mail information to put your query to any member listed on this page.
Moreover we request all the alumni-followers to fill up the online alumni membership form and help us to stay in touch with you.
I’m amazed at the number of hits the blog site still receives. Mostly folks seem interested in our photo which leads me to believe that we are thinking about each other.
I have received emails and phone calls from alumni that have told me they are continuing to gather & meet – either in relation to the grade school they attended, clubs they were in or regions they currently live in. I hope you have been a participant and I can help facilitate your participation if you send me a note by email letting me know who you are looking for. I’ll do my best to put you in touch with a friend.
“Thanks to the excellent work the Reunion committee, I was able to not only get reacquainted with old friends in person, but also with those who could not attend, through email. By establishing contact with most MSD Alumni throughout the country and providing a comprehensive list with multiple communication options, our friends has made it possible for me to locate old classmates and have some good online chats with them. Also, by finding out about those who have passed on, I now realize that time is getting short, and the opportunity to contact them has slipped by, sometimes only by a year or two. How many of us will be able to attend the next reunion? Now that we all know the status of most classmates, there is perhaps one more opportunity to connect with some of them before time marches on.
Thank you all those who have kept in touch, thanks so much for the memories, both old and new

Even though the goal may be a thousand miles away, it takes the first step to begin
