🌟A Proud Literary Milestone for DPS Bathinda! 🌟
Delhi Public School, Bathinda proudly celebrates the remarkable literary accomplishment of its budding Punjabi writers. Under the prestigious literary initiative “Navian Kalma Navi Udaan” by Punjab Bhawan, Surrey, Canada, the poems and essays of our talented students from Session 2025–26 have been featured in “Navian Kalma Navi Udaan” – Part 78 & Part 79.
In recognition of their outstanding achievement and creative excellence, the students were felicitated with certificates, medals, and books by Principal Mr. Jatinder Kumar Saini, Senior Mistress Mrs. Parmjeet Kaur, and Coordinator Dr. Anu Sandeep Kaur.
A special note of appreciation goes to Mrs. Sandeep Kaur for her unwavering guidance, encouragement, and dedicated mentorship in nurturing and inspiring these young literary talents.

Safety awareness begins at an early age, and our tiny tots took an important step towards learning how to stay safe and smart through an engaging “Stranger Alert” Activity conducted for Nursery to UKG students on 22nd May.
The session was thoughtfully designed to help children understand the difference between safe and unsafe situations in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate manner. Our teachers guided the students with simple yet essential rules and encouraged them to always stay alert and seek help from trusted adults when they come across a stranger.
The enthusiastic participation of our little learners made the activity both meaningful and memorable. Together, we aim to nurture confident, aware, and responsible young minds.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026–27 (VI to XII) was held with great enthusiasm and dignity at Delhi Public School Bathinda on 22nd May 2026. The ceremony marked the formal inauguration of the newly elected Student Council and House Bodies, celebrating leadership, responsibility, and commitment among the students.
Under the guidance and leadership of Principal Jatinder Kumar Saini, the Student Council comprising 17 members was constituted for the session.
The following students were entrusted with the prestigious responsibilities:
• Head Boy – Gurkirat Singh
• Head Girl – Manmohit Kaur
• Vice Head Boy – Armaan Singh Bhullar
• Vice Head Girl – Harshika Bansal
Along with the Student Council, the House Bodies of all six houses were also announced. The teams included House Captains, Vice House Captains, and Prefects who were entrusted with their respective responsibilities for the smooth functioning of house activities throughout the year.
The Principal formally conferred badges upon the newly elected members, symbolizing the trust and confidence placed in them by the school. The council members then took the oath , pledging to uphold the values, discipline, and spirit of the school with sincerity and dedication. With the oath-taking ceremony, the new Student Council was officially constituted.
The ceremony concluded with an inspiring address by Principal Jatinder Kumar Saini, who motivated the students to lead with integrity, responsibility, and teamwork. The event ended on a note of pride and optimism for a successful academic session ahead.

The event commenced with the oath-taking ceremony, where the young leaders pledged to serve the school with sincerity, discipline, and dedication. The esteemed Principal, Mr. Jatinder Kumar Saini, honoured the council members by presenting them with badges and motivated them to become confident, responsible, and inspiring leaders.
The House Incharge and Wardens also felicitated the members of the six houses by awarding badges to the House Captains and Prefects, encouraging them to uphold the values and traditions of the school.
The ceremony showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership qualities and teamwork among students. The programme concluded with a warm Vote of Thanks delivered by Coordinator Dr. Anu Sandeep Kaur, who appreciated the efforts of the school staff and students in making the event successful and extended her best wishes to the newly appointed council members for a meaningful and successful tenure.
