Under the guidance of the apex Sikh institution, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), Sri Amritsar Sahib, and the Directorate of Education, Bahadurgarh, students from SGPC educational institutions have departed for Kenya to participate in the special programme “Nishkam International Spiritual and Seva Girls Retreat”, organized by Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha, Kericho (Kenya).
The camp is being organized from 17 August 2026 to 26 August 2026. It will provide Amritdhari Sikh girls with an opportunity to step beyond the boundaries of Punjab and represent themselves at the international level. This is a significant new milestone for our institutions and will serve as a guiding path for other female students in the future.
Students from different countries around the world have been selected to participate in this camp. Among them, 10 students have been selected from various educational institutions of the SGPC:
• 2 students from Bhai Nand Lal Public School, Sri Anandpur Sahib
• 1 student from Baba Gurditta Ji Public School, Jindwari, Roopnagar
• 2 students from Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School, Lahdewal Mahilpur, Hoshiarpur
• 1 student from Baba Buddha Public Senior Secondary School, Bir Sahib, Tarn Taran
• 4 students from Mata Sahib Kaur Girls College, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda
