🩸 Blood Donation Camp at Dr. M.R.S. Bhalla DAV School

Dr. M.R.S. Bhalla DAV High School, Qila Mandi, Batala, organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Umeed Foundation Yuva Ikai, Batala.

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from staff members, volunteers and community members who came forward to donate blood and contribute towards saving precious lives. ❤️

The school management appreciated the efforts of Umeed Foundation Yuva Ikai, Batala and all the donors for their selfless service and valuable contribution to society.

The Independence Day celebration was organized with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit at Dr. M.R.S. Bhalla DAV High School, Qila Mandi, Batala. The school campus was beautifully decorated with the colours of the Tricolour.

The programme began with the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. Students presented patriotic songs, speeches, poems, dances and cultural performances highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the importance of freedom.

The Principal, Mrs. Richa Mahajan, addressed the students and encouraged them to uphold the values of unity, discipline, peace and patriotism. She congratulated the students and teachers for their enthusiastic participation.

The celebration concluded with a message of national pride and a renewed pledge to contribute positively towards the progress and development of our nation.

A fun and engaging Colour Recognition Activity was conducted in the school to help our young learners identify and recognize different colours. The activity provided students with an enjoyable hands-on learning experience.

Students were shown colourful objects, cards, and classroom materials and were encouraged to name and match the colours. Through playful activities, they learned to differentiate between colours such as red, blue, yellow, green, orange, and pink.

The activity enhanced students’ observation skills, colour recognition, concentration, and vocabulary while making learning joyful and interactive.

Essay Writing, Story Writing and Story Telling Competition Held in School of grade 8th students

Dr. M.R.S. Bhalla DAV High School, Qila Mandi oranised activity Week. On this Grade 8th class students take part in an Essay Writing, Story Writing and Story Telling Competition to encourage students’ creativity, imagination, and communication skills.

Students from different classes enthusiastically participated in the competition and showcased their excellent writing and storytelling abilities. Their presentations reflected confidence, originality, and a deep understanding of the given topics.

The Principal Smt. Richa Mahajan appreciated the efforts of all the participants and motivated them to continue developing their reading, writing, and public speaking skills. Such competitions play an important role in enhancing students’ creativity, language proficiency, and self-confidence.

The event concluded with great enthusiasm, leaving the students inspired to express their ideas through words and stories.

🌈🎤 Nursery Class English Poetry Competition🧸📚

Tiny voices, bright smiles, and confident performances filled the day with joy as the Nursery Class English Poetry Competition was successfully organized at Dr. M.R.S. Bhalla DAV School, Qila Mandi, Batala.

Our little stars recited delightful English rhymes with confidence, enthusiasm, and adorable expressions, leaving everyone amazed. The competition provided a wonderful opportunity for our young learners to build confidence, improve their speaking skills, and develop a love for the English language from an early age.

Literacy Week is celebrating in school with great enthusiasm.

As part of the celebration, Class II students enthusiastically participated in an English Writing Competition. The competition provided an excellent opportunity for students to showcase their writing skills, improve their handwriting, spelling, and vocabulary, and develop confidence in expressing their thoughts through English.

The students participated with great excitement and dedication, making the event a wonderful success. We congratulate all the participants for their sincere efforts and commend our teachers for encouraging a love for reading and writing among young learners.

Activity Day Celebration – Greeting Activity

Every Saturday is celebrated as Activity Day in our school to encourage joyful and experiential learning.
This Saturday, Our Pre Primary Nursery students enthusiastically participated in a Greeting Activity, where they learned the importance of greeting others with respect, kindness, and a warm smile. The activity helped them develop good manners, confidence, and positive social skills in a fun and interactive way. It was wonderful to see our young learners actively participating and spreading positivity throughout the school.
