Basti district is an educationally backward District of Uttar Pradesh, India, As per 2011 census, 94.5 % population of district lives in rural areas of villages and literacy rate of rural population is 66.27 % with female literacy rate of 55 percent. While literacy rate amongst poor and disadvantaged community are far below than the average literacy rate of the district. We believe that any positi
ve change in society is possible only by the quality education to the young generation particularly female child. Working on our motto "Quality Education for All" we have initiated establishment of a nonprofit school named "Bhanu Pratap Educational Academy" in village Deoriya Mafi, Basti, Uttar Pradesh with mission to provide quality education to the rural poor children who are deprived of their basic right to education especially those belonging to minority community, girl child, physically challenged and orphans. Majority of the children from poor and disadvantaged community in rural areas are not have access of quality education and often forced into child labour and doing menial jobs like domestic help, working in roadside tea stalls etc. We aim to protect their childhood and inspire them to study for building better future for themselves as well as our nation. We shall focus on imparting life skills along with conventional education. Our emphasis will be on all round development of students providing moral education and environmental awareness so that our coming generation becomes socially, morally, and environmentally more responsible. Sports and games shall be encouraged for better physical development of students and for identifying children naturally talented in sports. Students will be encouraged to identify and pursue their interests and hobbies for developing their innate talent.
