So any of our actions which led to destablize our personal life at micro level and our species, community, ecosystem, environment or whole nature at macro level can not be end of our life. Concept of comparative advantage emphasizes that highest stability and prosperity comes when every thing performs in it's specialty. There is no doubt that humans specialty is his analytical and reasoning power in which he has comparative advantage over any other species. So ultimate end of human life must be exploitation of this power. It doesn't matter how much a person earns physical wealth. matter is how much a person harvested his thinking potential. Purpose of earning wealth is only to facilitate your body so that you can think more and more and evolve new ideas. Life without any invention or innovation worth nothing. "Earning and eating only" is like a vehicle which is turned on but not geared and remains stayed.
