World Environment Day!

The Ministry of Education, Department of Higher Education, Government of India invites nominations for the National Awards to Teachers 2026 for Higher Educational Institutions and Polytechnics. The awards seek to recognise and honour distinguished faculty members for their exceptional contributions towards teaching-learning, innovation, research, institutional development, student mentorship and community outreach.

Modes of Nomination (On Janbhagidari basis)

➡️ Self-Nomination
➡️ Institutional Nomination: By Heads of HEIs/ Polytechnics (Director/ Principal/ VCs)
➡️ Peer Nomination: By Colleagues of the same university/ institute/ college/ Polytechnic, where the nominee holds regular employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Regular faculty members of Colleges/ Universities/ Higher Educational Institutions/ Polytechnics in India
✔️ Minimum 5 years of full-time teaching experience at UG and/or PG level
✔️ Applicant should not be above 55 years of age as on the last date of submission

Celebrating a successful conclusion of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp! 🎓🌟
We wrapped up Day 7 of our 7-Day camp at PM Shri KV Barrackpore (Army) with absolute joy! Our students participated in Assamese Traditional Games, took part in an exciting quiz, and confidently performed what they learned over the week.
The event concluded with a motivational closure and certificate distribution. So proud of our bright young learners for embracing the Assamese language with such pure enthusiasm! ❤️🇮🇳

A journey through Assam's landscapes at PM Shri KV Barrackpore (Army)! 🗺️✨
Day 6 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp focused on the history and geography of Assam. With the help of Atlas maps and A/V materials, our students learned the names and significance of Assam's famous rivers, mountains, and heritage monuments.
Language learning gets even more exciting when we explore the land it belongs to! ⛰️🌊

Day 5 of the Bharatiya Bhasha Summer Camp was dedicated to culture appreciation and listening skills. Our students watched short films and listened to patriotic stories about the brave local heroes and freedom fighters of Assam.
A wonderful session that blended language learning with deep respect for our nation's history! 🙌❤️
