๐ Drawing random arrows on a coordinate plane will NOT get you full marks for a Phasor Diagram in your CBSE Class 12 Physics paper!
When solving questions from Alternating Current, many students sketch peak voltage (\(V_{m}\)) and peak current (\(I_{m}\)) vectors with arbitrary lengths and angles, thinking any vector representation is good enough. It isn't.
According to the official CBSE Board Evaluation Blueprints:
1. The lengths of your phasor arrows must accurately represent the relative amplitudes of the quantities (e.g., if \(X_L > X_C\), the net voltage vector must lead the current).
2. The phase angle (ฯ) and angular position (ฯ t) must be geometrically evident and mathematically synchronized with your analytical derivation steps.
If an examiner sees an unbalanced phasor diagram that contradicts your mathematical solution, the step-marking matrix automatically drops that section's marks.
โก Treat your physics diagrams with absolute geometric respect. Stop sketching and start scaling!
