Today, as we honor Children's Day in remembrance of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru's birthday—a leader who cherished and nurtured children regardless of their caste, creed, religion, or race and was a co-founder of the Non-Aligned Movement—my thoughts turn to the plight of countless innocent children affected by conflicts led by various global leaders. It's disheartening to witness these leaders placing themselves above established institutions, even disregarding their scriptures. Such actions are truly shameful.

At this moment, I earnestly pray for divine intervention and implore everyone to strive for the well-being of all children worldwide, especially those in war-torn regions like Gaza. Failing to do so would render us culpable, for, as William Wordsworth feared, 'The child is the father of man.' We must comprehend this truth. May God bless us all with a heightened sense of universal brotherhood and the fundamental right to peaceful coexistence for everyone. May the grace of the Almighty Allah shower upon all children! The Human Resource Development Institute of Barpeta district has conducted a Talent Search Exam and our institution has selected four students from classes V, III, II, and I to participate in the exam. We wish them all the best and may they come out with flying colours.
