Workshop on Resume Writing and Interview Skills Held at Aryabhatta College, Barnala

The Department of Commerce and Management, Aryabhatta College, Barnala, successfully organized a Workshop on Resume Writing and Interview Skills on 22 August 2026.

The workshop was coordinated by Mrs. Sukhpreet Kaur, who also delivered an informative and engaging lecture on the topic “Resume Writing and Interview Skills.” During her lecture, she provided valuable guidance to the students regarding the preparation of an effective and professional resume and the development of essential interview skills.

She explained the proper format and structure of a professional resume, including personal details, educational qualifications, skills, achievements, and work experience. She also discussed important aspects of interview preparation, such as self-introduction, communication skills, body language, confidence building, appropriate dressing, commonly asked interview questions, and professional behaviour.

The workshop helped students understand the importance of presenting their qualifications and strengths effectively and approaching job interviews with confidence and a positive attitude.

Mrs. Sukhpreet Kaur, Event Coordinator and, encouraged students to continuously improve their professional and communication skills to achieve success in their future careers.

Chairman Er. R. K. Gupta appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of career-oriented activities for the overall development of students.

Director Dr. Ajay Mittal appreciated the efforts of the organizers and highlighted the importance of such workshops in preparing students for future career opportunities.

Dean Academic Dr. Bhavet appreciated the participation and enthusiasm of the students and emphasized the importance of confidence, communication skills, and a positive attitude for professional success.

Awareness Lecture on Political Science

📚 Aryabhatta Group of Institutes, Barnala organized an awareness lecture on “Scope of Political Science” on 11 August 2026, under the guidance of the Department of Arts and Humanities.

Prof. Nidhi Singla (Political Science)guided students about the changing scope of Political Science, higher education, and diverse career opportunities in the modern era.

Hawan Ceremony Held at Aryabhatta College, Barnala to Mark the Beginning of the New Academic Session

Barnala, August 15, 2026: Aryabhatta College, Barnala, organized a sacred Hawan Ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Independence Day to mark the beginning of the new academic session and to seek divine blessings for the peace, prosperity, success, and well-being of the entire Aryabhatta family.

The ceremony was performed according to traditional Vedic rituals and created an atmosphere of spirituality, positivity, devotion, and harmony. Members of the management, faculty, staff, and students participated in the Hawan with great enthusiasm.

Er. R.K. Gupta, Chairman, Aryabhatta College, appreciated the organization of the Hawan and extended his blessings and best wishes for the new academic session. He wished the students and faculty members success in their academic and professional pursuits.

Dr. Ajay Mittal, Director, appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of beginning the new academic session with positivity, harmony, and a commitment towards excellence.

Dr. Bhavet, Dean Academics, appreciated the participation of students and staff and wished everyone a productive, successful, and enriching academic session.

The esteemed members of the management committee—Mr. Rajiv Mangla, Mr. Vicky Singhal, Mr. Inderpal Goyal, Mr. Harbhajan Singh, Mr. Mohit Mangla, and Mr. Ashwani Kumar—also appreciated the initiative and extended their best wishes to the students, faculty members, and staff for the new academic session.

Aryabhatta Group of Institutes, Barnala celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotic spirit and enthusiasm. The National Flag was hoisted by Chairman Sh. R.K. Gupta in the presence of Joint Secretary Sh. Inderpal Goyal, Finance Secretary Sh. Naresh Kumar, Executive Member Sh. Harbhajan Singh and Sh. Ishan Gupta.
The celebration witnessed the enthusiastic participation of management members, college authorities, faculty, staff and students. The National Anthem was sung with pride, followed by inspiring messages highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters, the importance of national unity, discipline, responsibility and the role of youth in nation-building.
