Takshila School Annual Athletic meet was celebrated with much fervor and enthusiasm as the students participated with zeal and sportsmanship. The energy and vigour of the students was electrifying Among the four houses Akaksh, Agni, Jal and Prithvi, Jal house bagged the first position followed by Prithvi house as the first runner up and Akash house as the second runner up.The winning houses were elated with the results but the other houses too accepted the results with humility and cheered up the winners living up to the true spirit of sportsmanship.Among the cheer and joy the day finally came to an end.

TakshilaSchool Barnala celebrated Lohri festival with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration began with a speech on lohri festival by Bhinderjit mam.
On the occasion, special arrangements were made. A bonfire was lit and dances and songs were presented by students.
Principal Mr Anoop kumar Sharma threw light on the festival of Lohri and said the festival marks the victory of good over evil.Students and staff members were attired in traditional dresses and were totally absorbed in the festive sprit of Lohri.. Various events like gidha, bhangra, were organised on the school premises to mark the occasion. Students flew kites played games tug of war, dance on beat n enjoyed a lot.
