ਬਰੌਡਵੇ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ, ਮਨਾਲ ਵਿਖੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ 23 ਸਤੰਬਰ 2026 ਨੂੰ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦਿਵਸ ਬੜੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਨਾਲ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। 💐

ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ, ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲਿਆ:

ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਾਂ-ਬੋਲੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਪਿਆਰ, ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਦੀ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ।

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇੱਕ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨਹੀਂ, ਸਾਡੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ, ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰ ਦੀ ਧੜਕਣ ਹੈ। ❤️

The MI Department of Broadway Public School organised an informative seminar on “Diabetes Awareness and Management” for the teaching staff. The session was conducted by Dr. Beervant Kaur (MBBS), Medical Officer at Kup Kalan, Ludhiana.

During the session, Dr. Beervant Kaur enlightened the teachers about diabetes, its prevention, and its management through healthy dietary habits and lifestyle modifications. She shared valuable insights into planning and preparing balanced and nutritious meals and explained how appropriate dietary choices can play an important role in managing Type 2 diabetes and, in some cases, supporting remission under appropriate medical guidance.

The session proved to be highly informative and enriching, encouraging teachers to adopt healthier lifestyles and make mindful dietary choices.

The school management expressed heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Beervant Kaur for sharing her valuable knowledge and expertise. The management also appreciated the dedicated efforts of Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, MI Department, and Ms. Daljeet Kaur for taking the initiative to organise such a meaningful and insightful session for the staff.

CBP Workshop on Mental Health and Wellness Held at Broadway Public School

Broadway Public School hosted a CBP (Capacity Building Programme) Workshop on Mental Health and Wellness under the aegis of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The workshop focused on promoting mental health and wellness among students and enhancing educators’ understanding of their emotional and psychological needs.

The workshop was conducted by the esteemed resource persons, Mrs Paramjeet Kaur Hunjan and Mr Amandeep Singh, who shared valuable insights into various dimensions of student mental health. They highlighted the importance of creating a supportive, positive and emotionally safe school environment where students feel heard, understood and encouraged to express themselves.

Through interactive discussions and practical inputs, the resource persons sensitised educators to recognising students’ emotional concerns and responding to them with empathy and sensitivity. The sessions also focused on fostering healthy communication, emotional resilience, positive relationships and responsible coping strategies among students.

Broadway Public School recently hosted "Fantasia," a vibrant event for foundational students from Nursery to Class 2 in the school's Play Room under the Guidance of their class teachers, teams of three students from each class took the stage to deliver engaging performances through acting . Each act was designed to share a meaningful social message, helping the young learners build creative expression while understanding important values and community issues.The successful event was supervised by HoS Ms. Sazia, Block Coordinator Ms. Sukhraj, and School Activity Coordinator Ms. Noreen Malik. The Chairman of the school, Principal, and the Director, praised the students' high energy, celebrated their creative efforts, and congratulated the winners.Ultimately, "Fantasia" served as a brilliant showcase of teamwork, confidence, and social consciousness, offering the school's youngest stars a wonderful platform to shine.

Intellect and excitement took center stage at Broadway Public School during the Inter-House Quiz Contest for Classes III to V! Our talented students put their knowledge and confidence to the test in a thrilling battle of brain hosted by Ms. Zeba, Ms. Rajan Bala, and Ms. Kuldeep Kaur. A huge congratulations to Blue House for winning first place under the guidance of Mr. Anwar Ali and Ms. Gagandeep Kaur! Green House took home second place, and Red House secured third. Special thanks to our block coordinator , Ms. Prabhjot Kaur and Activity Coordinator Ms. Noreen Malik, for overseeing the event. The Director of the institute praised the winners and celebrated all participants for their incredible sportsmanship!

Broadway Public School observed National Deworming Day September 5, 2026, under the guidance and supervision of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Punjab. Emphasizing slogans such as "Worm-free Kids, Brighter Futures" and "Deworm Today for a Healthy Tomorrow," the initiative aimed to raise awareness about child health and hygiene.
During the event, Mr. Nirbhai Singh from CHC Dhanoula visited the campus to support and oversee the noble health drive. School officials expressed their commitment to ensuring a healthier environment for students through such routine health interventions.
