Celebrating the Success of National Science Day 2025 at NTPC MAITI, Barkagaon! 🌟

On February 28, 2025, we successfully celebrated National Science Day at NTPC Mining and Industrial Training Institute (MAITI), Dhenga, Barkagaon. The event, themed “Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharat,” brought together young minds, educators, and industry leaders to foster innovation and scientific curiosity.

The program was inaugurated by Mr. Faiz Taiyab, Head of Project, NTPC PBCMP, and graced by Guest of Honour, Mr. Kamala Ram Razak, Sr. Manager CSR. The event began with garlanding and lamp lighting in tribute to Sir C.V. Raman, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the exhibition.

Key Highlights:
🔹 60+ technical projects and models showcased, including safety and fire safety demonstrations by ITI trainees.
🔹 20 puzzle-solving competitions organized across various stalls, engaging school students in interactive learning.
🔹 Participation of 350 students, science faculty, school teachers, parents, and dignitaries, making the event a grand success.
🔹 Meritorious trainees Rakesh, Raju, and Bikki Kumar were honored with certificates and mementos for securing internships at IIT Gandhinagar and their contributions to skill development.
🔹 The Chief Guest praised the quality of the technical exhibition and puzzle competitions, which were supported by IIT Gandhinagar interns.

Organized 2nd Day National Safety Week-2024 at NTPC-MAITI, Barkagaon Inaugurated by Chief Guest and Chief Speaker Mr. Mukesh Kumar Singh Police Inspector-Incharge Barkagaon Police Station, and Special Guest Mr. Mithlesh upadhyay-Principal- MAITI -This year's theme for the National Safety Week is ‘Safety Leadership for ESG Excellence.’ It is about the leaders who make safety a big part of how things must work in a company, from top to bottom. 4 मार्च 1966 को स्थापित भारत की राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा परिषद (एनएससी) ने 1972 में राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा दिवस मनाने की शुरुआत की और तब से, व्यावसायिक सुरक्षा और स्वास्थ्य के बारे में जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए इसे हर साल मनाया जाता है। एनएससी का प्राथमिक उद्देश्य कार्यस्थल पर सुरक्षा और स्वास्थ्य को बढ़ावा देना, दुर्घटनाओं को रोकना और सुरक्षित और स्वस्थ कार्य वातावरण बनाना है। सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान जैसी मुहिम लोगों को जागरुक करने, ज़िम्मेदारी भरा व्यवहार करने, और सड़कों को सुरक्षित बनाने में अहम भूमिका निभाती है. यह मुहिम जैसे-जैसे आगे बढ़ेगी, हमें उम्मीद है कि लोग जागरुक होंगे, अपना सहयोग देंगे और देश की सड़कों को सुरक्षित बनाने में अपना अहम योगदान देंगे. आप जो बदलाव देखना चाहते हैं, सबसे पहले खुद में वह बदलाव लाएं. सड़क सुरक्षा अभियान 2024 से जुड़ें और साथ मिलकर बहुमूल्य जीवन बचनाएं.
