On the occasion of the 127th birth anniversary of Padmashree Dr. Krutartha Acharya, the 32nd Annual Day celebration of PKA Group of Institutions, Bargarh ,Phoenix 2026, was held with great enthusiasm on 20th & 21st March.

Honourable Chairman, PKAGI, Sri Prasanna Acharya sir spoke about the ambition in the life of a student, while Treasurer Sri Jayaprakash Agrawal sir highlighted the inspiring journey of Padmashree Dr.Krutartha Acharya. Respected Secretary of this group Dr.Tarun Kumar Sarangi sir motivated students for all-round excellence, and Principal, PKACE Dr. Bharat Bhushan Satpathy sir presented the annual report. The entire ceremony was smoothly coordinated by the dedicated efforts of the faculty members and staff of this institution, making it a grand success.

The opening ceremony was followed by vibrant cultural performances, where students showcased their talent through mesmerizing dance and soulful music. The second day of the celebration featured a lively orchestra performance by artists Ankit Raj, Soubhagya Laxmi Dash, and Jasobanta Sagar, adding energy and excitement to the event.

PKA Group of Institutions, Bargarh, organized the tech fest TECHATHON 2K26 on March 18th. It was a vibrant celebration of innovation, creativity, and technical excellence. Students actively participated in various events, such as project exhibitions, "Insta-projects," technical quizzes, and idea presentations.

The festival provided a platform for budding engineers to showcase their skills, exchange innovative ideas, and learn through collaboration. One of the most engaging highlights was the Project Exhibition, which showcased the creativity and expertise of students from various engineering branches. Each department presented projects that reflected practical applications of classroom knowledge while addressing real-world challenges.

Students demonstrated advanced software solutions, smart systems, embedded systems, and IoT devices. They also displayed working machine models, energy-efficient systems, sustainable building designs, smart city models, and structural innovations.

Our esteemed guests for the occasion included Mr. Debadutta Sabyasachi Mishra (Superintendent Engineer, Electrical Circuit, TPWODL Bargarh), Mr. Attabali Mandol (Maintenance Head, ACC Cement, Bargarh), and Mr. Umashankar Rao (HR Head, ACC Cement, Bargarh). They reviewed each project and appreciated the technical depth and practical applications demonstrated by the students. To conclude the fest, our honorable secretary, Dr. Tarun Kumar Sarangi, presented prizes to the winners of various competitions during the closing ceremony.

The Annual Sports & Athletic Meet 2026 of PKA Group of Institutions, Bargarh, concluded with great enthusiasm and pride at the grand closing ceremony.

Over the past few days, the campus witnessed thrilling competitions in cricket, badminton, carrom, and chess, along with exciting athletic events like the 100m & 200m runs, high jump, and long jump. Each event showcased the determination, teamwork, strength, and strategic skills of our talented students.
The closing ceremony was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Mrs. Basanti Oram, Assistant Professor, Commerce Department, and NCC Officer at Panchayat College, Bargarh, whose inspiring words encouraged students to continue balancing academics with sports and to always strive for excellence. The Honorable Secretary of PKAGI, Dr. Tarun Kumar Sarangi, and Principal of PKACE, Dr. Bharat Bhushan Satpathy, addressed the students regarding the importance of sports and discipline in a student's life.

PKA Group of Institutions proudly celebrated Republic Day, honouring the Constitution and the spirit of India. 🇮🇳 On this occasion, the national flag was hoisted by our honourable Secretary, Dr Tarun Kumar Sarangi. This was followed by soulful patriotic songs performed by our students, which echoed through our campus.
