Children identify faces, touch, sound and colors from infancy. By the time they reach the age of 4-5, they start to identify drawn symbols. Letters are also perceived as drawn symbols. It is best to show a monochromatic letter to a child at this age. That is the reason why most text books carry a lot of images, but a single color text.

A child's mind is a kingdom where the child is at the center-stage. There are characters who support, there are others who challenge. The kingdom is there to help the child survive, make way and win.

Understand your child by observing what she likes, what she collects, what she keeps, what she draws, what she says. Protecting your child's kingdom ensures that the kingdom wins every war.

There are two ways to deal with them. One way is ignoring, where the child will feel dejected and won't benefit anyone. Second way is to "proactively give undivided attention to the child for a predictable amount of time at a predictable time".

Once the child knows that you are available for sure, but not all the time; and also understands what behavior is appreciated, he will adapt.

Kids love ripping off the toys and putting them together. An irritation for sure, But at the cost of opening a toy, they learn how to make one.

Encourage kids, help them look at the internals. It motivates them. They can become creators.
