Invitation for RANBHUMI’18
It gives us immense pleasure to invite you to RANBHUMI '18 – the flagship event of COLOSSEUM’18 to be held on 20-22 April 2018 at College of Technology, Pantnagar.
Ranbhumi- It is a Robotics event consisting of four competitions described below. It provides an opportunity to the students enthusiastic in the field of robotics to showcase their talents. The event is the ultimate fusion of hardware and programming.
The details of the competitions are as follows:
Infinity and Beyond- The Autonomous Robotics Competition. An autonomous line follower robot has to be made, which can traverse a path that runs through junctions, breaks, curves and angles. The bot is required to follow the line without deviating from it.
The Bourne Identity- The Semi-Autonomous Competition. Overcoming and tackling the challenges is what makes one victorious in this event. Participants have to use a mechanical and an autonomous bot and race the bot against all odds, crossing hurdles along the way.
Robosoccer- This is a platform for participants to showcase their talents and also bring alive the football spirit. They are required to build a manually controlled bot capable of playing soccer on an arena specially designed for the robotic soccer match.
Hell in a Cell- The Robowar. The ultimate battle of robots where Sparks fly! Metal crunches! A wheel pops free and ricochets off the arena! Competitors crave to be the lone survivor.
