​The Physics of Power Conservation
​In an industrial gearbox, the Power (P) delivered by the engine remains constant. We use the fundamental relationship:
​P = τ × ω
(Power = Torque × Angular Velocity)
​Because Power is constant, Torque and Speed share an inverse relationship:
τ1 × ω1 = τ2 × ω2
​The Industrial Case Study: TATA Motors Engine
​Input Torque (τ_in): 200 Nm
​Input Speed (ω_in): 3000 RPM
​Gear Ratio (k): Radius increases from 5 cm to 20 cm (Ratio = 4)
​The Result?
​Torque Multiplied: 200 Nm × 4 = 800 Nm (Massive pulling power!)
​Speed Reduced: 3000 RPM / 4 = 750 RPM (Controlled climb)
