School of Law and Justice, Adamas University successfully hosted the 3rd National Moot Court Competition on 27th and 28th January 2023, critically addressing Digitalisation, Cyberspace use, interception of communication, and privacy issues under the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Constitution of India. We extend our heartiest congratulations to the team of GLA University for clinching Victory and Banaras Hindu University for showcasing exceptional legal acumen and securing the “Runners-up” position.

Capturing the essence of legal valour and academic brilliance, the 1st Adamas Intra Moot Court Competition at School of Law and Justice, Adamas University, was held on 3rd and 4th November, 2023. Immersed in the rigorous challenges of the semi-finals, adjudicated by the distinguished advocates from the esteemed AKS Advocates and Solicitors, to the intellectually stimulating final round, under the discerning eyes of Hon'ble Justice Bibek Chaudhari, Former Sitting Judge of Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, and an esteemed panel including Mr. Tushar Kanti Bhattacharjee, Retired District Judge, Mr. Sujit Kumar Nandy, Member of Judicial Services of State, Former member of District & Sessions Judge, Hoogly; Mr. Mahadeb Ghosh, Retd. District & Sessions Judge, High Court Registrar, Calcutta and Mr. Tapan Kumar Das, Retd. Additional District & Sessions Judge, Registrar State Tribunal, the event set a new benchmark for legal excellence. These moments of legal acumen and advocacy mark the forging of future legal minds.

The 1st Adamas Intra Moot Court Competition, 2023, has not only encouraged the spirit of advocacy in the aspiring legal minds, but had also instilled teamwork and analytical thinking among them. Beginning from the inauguration ceremony, to Researchers' Test, and from the commencement of the Pre-lims to the thrilling Final Rounds, the competition was indeed intriguing.These glimpses of the competition projects the active participation of the students and the collaborative work of the organising committee which had ultimately yielded the grand success of the event.

Upholding the Legal Spirit and the Supremacy of Law !!!!

"Greetings, everyone! We are immensely proud to announce that the 1st Adamas Intra Moot Court Competition (AIMCC),
2023 is going to be organised by the School of Law and Justice, Adamas University. This spectacular event shall ensue from 2nd November 2023 to 4th November 2023, in Adamas University, School of Law and Justice.

Mooting is all about showcasing one's advocacy skills with aplomb confidence. A good mooter makes a better advocate and becomes an asset for the legal fraternity. Thus, this moot court competition will offer a humongous opportunity to the pupils to improve not only their advocacy skills but also their overall knowledge in the dynamic area of law.

So, let's come together and witness this astounding spirit of mooting and encourage all those blooming buds who are going to pave the way towards building a brighter legal fraternity that could lead to the sustainability of the legal spirit and the supreme essence of law.
