Information for 6th National Youth Convention -
All India Agricultural Students Association is going to organize 6th National Youth Convention on "Innovation and Agricultural Reforms towards Farmers' Prosperity" in joint collaboration with Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Professor Jayashakar Telangana State Agricultural University, Hyderabad in Virtual mode from 20th - 21st February 2021. The event will also supported by YPARD India and CIMMYT. All students, professionals and farmers are encouraged to participate in the convention.

Dear Members,
Recently the union government has enacted 3 new farm laws by the Acts and were passed by the Parliament. As per the government, the new laws will create a lot of opportunities for Agri Entrepreneurship, will diversify the agriculture commodity production, bring investment in agriculture and will help in increasing the farmers income significantly. In this backdrop a section of people and farmers are supporting the government for enacting new farm laws, but at the same time a section of people and farmers are showing their resentment that news Acts will adversely affect them.

AIASA, being the largest organization of agriculture and allied students and different stakeholders, need to take a stand on the current issues and seek opinion of the members and other stake holders for implementation of news Acts. In this regard, you all are requested to kindly give your comments/suggestions on the implementation of new Acts in existing form or for changes/amendments or repeal with full justifications. So that this organization make a firm view to communicate to competent authority for appropriate suggestions on behalf of student community.
