Joseph’s Higher Secondary School , Baramulla is established and owned by the Catholic Diocese of Jammu-Srinagar and is administered by its Education Society. Govt announces mass promotion up to Class 11th, excluding 10th standard.
The government Saturday announced mass
promotion up to class 11th in all private and state-run schools across the Kashmir
valley. However, students of class 10th shall have to appear in the examinations as per schedule.
Winter vacations have also been extended by another week up to 8th standard. (GK)
The Jammu and Kashmir government has decide to hold the school and higher secondary school exams in March next year, a senior official said on Friday. The government has withdrawn its earlier handout regarding annual examination for students of class I to XII, Commissioner secretary Nirmal Sharma said.
He said since the cabinet decided to hold
examination of students in March next year and the earlier order of holding the exams in October and November must be deemed as withdrawn.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Thursday decided to postpone all the examinations of 10th and 12th classes till further orders. According to Board sources, these examinations
include the Practicals also. They added the new scheduled will be announced
after the situation caused by devastating flood is reviewed.
