The democratic election process for the posts of Head Boy and Head Girl was successfully conducted today at MHSS Chandoosa. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, reflecting a strong spirit of leadership and responsibility. The campus was vibrant with campaigning, creative posters, and active student engagement.
A free and fair electoral process was ensured under proper supervision. Students exercised their voting rights responsibly, promoting the values of democracy and unity within the institution.
HOI Sajjad Hussain Shah served as the Chief Election Commissioner, ensuring the smooth and transparent conduct of the elections. Lecturer Sheikh Sajad and Mtr. Rumaisa Ji acted as the overall incharges, efficiently managing and overseeing the entire process.
After the completion of the electoral process, Akram Khan was elected as Head Boy and Zoha Faiz as Head Girl. The school administration appreciated the disciplined conduct of students and the smooth ex*****on of the programme.
The initiative highlighted the importance of student participation in decision-making and nurtured a sense of leadership among young learners.

“Awareness Programme under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan”
A well-organized awareness programme was conducted at Model Higher Secondary School, Chandoosa, under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan on 23rd April 2026 . The event was graciously attended by Hon’ble MLA Javaid Hussain Baig, in the presence of HOI Sajjad Hussain Shah, Vice Principal Shabeer Hussain Baig, and ZEO Chandoosa.
Students actively participated by delivering thoughtful speeches on the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of a drug-free society. The Hon’ble MLA interacted with the students and delivered an insightful address, guiding them on how to stay away from drugs, focus on education, and make responsible life choices.
The programme also included the administration of a pledge against drug abuse. It concluded with the flagging off of an awareness rally by the Hon’ble MLA, spreading the message of a healthier and drug-free society.
