Celebrating the Year of Excellence: Mothers Lead Learning
GHS Vizer proudly celebrated the spirit of the “Year of Excellence” by organizing a unique initiative, “Mother as Teacher for the Day.” Mothers of foundational stage students, along with 11 dedicated alumni volunteers, actively engaged children in FLN activities using innovative TLM, promoting experiential and joyful learning in line with NEP-2020. The Head of the Institution appreciated the initiative and announced that such programmes will now be held monthly to strengthen foundational learning.
In the second phase, the school honoured the parents of Mr. Showkat Ahmad Parry, Special Secretary Finance, Chandigarh, for his generous contribution of ₹20 lakhs towards the development of the institution. A special photo frame titled “In Gratitude and Honour” was presented and permanently installed in the school office as a source of inspiration. The event was graced by SMDC members and parents, reflecting strong community participation.
