Grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ Rally Held at Baramulla

Baramulla, 6th September:
Jamiyat Ahle Sunnah Baramulla on Saturday organized a grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ rally which commenced from the revered Dargah Hazrat Syed Muhammad Janbaz Wali (RA) Khanpora and culminated at Dargah Aliyah, Old Town Baramulla.

Thousands of devotees from across the district participated in the rally with great enthusiasm and reverence, celebrating the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The streets of Baramulla echoed with slogans of love for the Prophet ﷺ as people joined the procession in large numbers.

Addressing the massive gathering, Jamiyat Ahle Sunnah Chairman, Moulana Tariq Misbahi, said that the government should respect the sentiments of the Muslim community of Jammu & Kashmir and declare a holiday on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ in the future. He also urged the younger generation to shun the menace of drugs and instead focus on education and the teachings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

On the occasion, devotees distributed water and fruits among the participants as a gesture of service and devotion.

Jamiyat Ahle Sunnah Baramulla expressed gratitude to Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Municipal Council, Police Department, and other concerned authorities for their cooperation and necessary arrangements which ensured the successful conduct of the rally.
