DCDC of Kashmir University Conducts Official Inspection of Kashmir Women's College of Education, Sopore
Today, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, the Dean College Development Council (DCDC) of the University of Kashmir, along with his official team, conducted an official inspection of the Kashmir Women's College of Education, Sopore.
During the visit, the DCDC thoroughly reviewed all academic and administrative aspects of the institution. The inspection included detailed checking of college infrastructure, academic records, faculty performance, and overall functioning of the institution.
In addition to the formal review, the DCDC and the accompanying staff engaged in interactive sessions with both the teaching faculty and students. These interactions provided an opportunity to understand the academic environment and address any concerns or suggestions from the stakeholders.
The inspection concluded with a visit to one of the classrooms, where the DCDC interacted directly with students. Expressing great satisfaction, he appreciated the discipline, enthusiasm, and academic engagement of the students. The visit left a positive impression on the inspecting team, who acknowledged the college's efforts in maintaining quality education standards.
The management of the Kashmir Women's College of Education extended their gratitude to the DCDC and his team for their visit and valuable feedback.

DC Baramulla Launches Meeras Mahal Museum Website at Baramulla
*Website to Showcase the Rich Cultural Heritage of Kashmir; Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar*
Baramulla, July 2023: In order to provide an ethnographic lens into the rich cultural heritage of Kashmir valley and provide people access of ancient ornaments, coins, traditional dresses and utensils, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar today launched Meeras Mahal Museum Website
www.meerasmahalmuseum.com to showcase the best representatives of the total collections.
After inagurating the website, Dr Syed Sehrish Asgar highlighted the importance of the Meeras Mahal Museum established at Sopore and said that the establishment of Meseum is a step towards preserving heritage of the said area.
She said that the website aims at spreading awareness about Kashmir's enthnicculture, especially from the hinterland, to not just the local community but also the global audience and the diaspora.
