A warm and dignified superannuation ceremony was organized at HSS Dangiwacha in honour of Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir, Lecturer in Zoology, and Mr. Prabjit Singh, Lecturer in Physical Education, marking the culmination of their illustrious careers in education.
The ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of staff members, students, friends, and family members of both the honourees, making it a memorable and emotional occasion. The event commenced with a formal welcome, followed by a series of speeches reflecting on the remarkable contributions of both educators to the institution and society at large.
Speakers highlighted Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir’s dedication to academic excellence and his unwavering commitment to nurturing scientific temperament among students. Mr. Prabjit Singh was lauded for his energetic involvement in promoting physical fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students.

Tinkering Week kicked off yesterday following the successful ATL Community Day, marking an exciting start to a journey of innovation and creativity. A large number of newly joined students enthusiastically took part in the activities.
The Design Thinking session was conducted by Mr. Tajamul Naseem Lone, ATL Incharge, who introduced students to problem-solving approaches and innovative mindsets. This was followed by an engaging hands-on session led by alumni Mohammad Idrees Sofi and Arshid Ahmad Dar, who inspired students through practical learning experiences.

ATL Community Day Celebrated at HSS Dangiwacha
Dangiwacha, April 28, 2026:
The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Community Day was successfully celebrated today at Higher Secondary School (HSS) Dangiwacha, with enthusiastic participation from a large number of teachers and students representing 15 cluster schools, both Government and private institutions.
The event aimed at fostering innovation, creativity, and scientific temperament among young learners while promoting collaboration across schools.
Mr. Munir Ahmad Wani, Divisional Nodal Officer (DNO) ATL Kashmir, graced the occasion as the Special Guest. He conducted an engaging hands-on session, providing practical exposure to participants on innovation and tinkering activities. His session inspired students and teachers to think critically and adopt problem-solving approaches using modern tools and technologies.
Mr. Fayaz Ahmad Teli Principal of HSS Dangiwacha, highlighted the importance of innovation in education and encouraged students to actively engage in creative and experiential learning. Mr. Tajamul Naseem Lone, ATL Incharge, delivered insightful sessions on innovation, intellectual property rights, and the development of 21st-century skills. He emphasized the need to nurture young minds to become future innovators and responsible global citizens.
The program concluded with interactive discussions, idea-sharing, and a renewed commitment among participants to integrate innovative practices in teaching and learning.
The ATL Community Day served as a vibrant platform to strengthen the culture of innovation and collaboration among schools in the region.

NEP 2020 a success story of three years journey .NEP Mela was held at Cluster HSS Dangiwacha in Collaboration with ZOnal Education office Dangiwacha hundreds of students and score of Distinguished academician and officers attended the Mela enthusiastically .Worthy ZEO Dangiwacha Mr Irshad Ahmad Khan graced as Chief guest and ZEPO Mr GM Wani was special invitee to the ocassion the programme was graced by Vice Principal HSS Dangiwacha Mr Muzafar Ahamad .the speakers who deliberated on various dimensions and nuances of NEP 2020 were Mr Abdul Majeed Lecturer Botany .Mr Iqbal Ahmad Master and Dr Imtiyaz Rasool Ganai .the speakers and students in their words under-scored the essence of NEP 2020 as boon for honing 21 century skills among educands to develop global insight of knowledge and technology.
