🇮🇳 77th Republic Day Celebration 🇮🇳
HSS Delina proudly celebrated the 77th Republic Day on 26th January 2026 with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and zeal. The campus was filled with the spirit of unity and national pride as students and staff came together to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
The celebration featured the unfurling of the National Flag, followed by a salute and the singing of the National Anthem.
On this proud occasion, it is worth mentioning that our NCC Cadet secured 2nd position and brought laurels to the institution by shining in the March Past competition conducted during the main Republic Day function at District Police Lines, Baramulla.Moreover, our Physical Education Lecturer, Mr. Firdous Ahmad Lone,was also honoured with an Appreciation Certificate, adding further pride to the institution.

We earnestly appeal to all respected parents and dear students of Delina and adjoining areas to make full use of the free Winter Tuition Programme started by the Government at Government Higher Secondary School Delina for students of Classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th.This initiative has been launched purely in the academic interest of students, especially to strengthen their concepts, improve performance, and prepare them better for upcoming examinations. Students are strongly advised not to lose this golden opportunity.
All eligible students are requested to enroll themselves immediately and attend the classes regularly to reap maximum benefit from this programme. Parents are also urged to cooperate by sending their wards without delay and encouraging them to participate actively.

Today, Govt. Higher Secondary School Delina, in collaboration with SDRF Baramulla, successfully conducted an impactful Awareness Programme on Disaster Management and Safety Measures within the school campus.
Mr. Mudasir Sultan, Senior SDRF official delivered an insightful and practical session, training students on essential safety precautions during disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and other emergencies.
He also demonstrated the crucial technique of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), equipping students with lifesaving skills.
The students participated with keen interest and enthusiasm, realizing the importance of preparedness in times of crisis. The teaching and non-teaching staff were also present, making the programme highly engaging and informative.
Mr. Bilal Sir coordinated the entire event efficiently and delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, appreciating the efforts of SDRF and all participants.

Disaster management skills were imparted to students under the able guidance of Associate NCC Officer Mr. Bilal Ahmad Sofi. He skillfully conducted the programme with the support of dedicated teachers Mr. Showkat Ahmad Dar, Mr. Farooq Ahmad Mir, Mrs. Rajni, and Mrs. Shashi. Worthy principal Sh Harminder Singh also graced the function with his presence. The students gained valuable knowledge about the essential measures to be taken during natural calamities and disasters.
