Baramulla, August 15: Police Public School (PPS) Baramulla celebrated the 79th Independence Day of the nation with utmost zeal, dignity, and patriotic spirit. On this occasion, the Principal, Police Public School Baramulla Mrs. Ulfat Aziz, ceremoniously unfurled the National Flag within the school premises, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem. The event was attended by the entire teaching and non-teaching staff, reflecting their collective respect and commitment towards the nation.

The main district-level Independence Day celebrations for the year 2025 were held at Showkat Ali Stadium, Government Degree College, Baramulla. A disciplined and well-coordinated march past contingent from PPS Baramulla proudly participated in the ceremony, earning appreciation from the dignitaries present.

The occasion served as a testament to the values of unity, dedication, and patriotism upheld by the staff and students of Police Public School Baramulla.

Baramulla, June 21, 2025:
Police Public School Baramulla celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm at the District Police Lines Ground, Baramulla. The event was marked by the active involvement of the Students, Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff of the school, who gathered to promote the message of health, harmony, and well-being through yoga.

The event commenced in the early hours with a warm-up session followed by a series of yoga asanas and breathing exercises under the guidance of trained instructors. The principal, in her brief address, highlighted the significance of yoga in daily life and encouraged everyone to adopt it as a regular practice to maintain physical and mental fitness.

The celebration reflected the school's commitment to holistic education, fostering not just academic excellence but also physical and emotional well-being.

J&K Police Public School Baramulla commemorated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and deep patriotic spirit.
The celebrations commenced with the ceremonial unfurling of the National Flag by the Principal Ulfat Aziz, accompanied by resounding cheers from the students and staff. The occasion was marked by the rendition of patriotic songs, elegant decorations, and a profound sense of unity and pride, reflecting the essence and significance of this historic day.
In continuation of the festivities, the Principal, faculty members, and students participated in the district-level Republic Day function held at DPL Baramulla. Students from PPS Baramulla excelled with their exemplary performances in both the cultural program and the march past, securing the first position in both categories. Their outstanding achievements not only brought laurels to the institution but also showcased their dedication and discipline, adding prestige to the event.

On September 28, 2024, the Worthy Chairperson of JKPWWA /PPSs JK Prof.Rasmita Das Swain, along with senior members of the J&K PWWA, Ms Snehal Sharma,Ms Snigdha Singh,Principal JKPPS Sgr and Ms Pragati Pandey,Vice Principal JKPPS Sgr inaugurated the new campus of Police Public School Baramulla at Fetehpora Khawajabagh, Baramulla in presence of Sh Maqsood ul Zaman,IPS DIGP NKR Adminstrative Officer JKPPS Bla. The inauguration ceremony was attended by other dignitaries, including, SSP Baramulla, the Staff Officer RPHQ Baramulla, Dy. Superintendent of Police (DAR) Nodal officer PPS Baramulla, as well as Principal PPS Bla and other teaching and non teaching staff,besides students of the school.
The event began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by the distribution of sweets among the guests, staff, and students. The students and staff members of PPS Baramulla warmly welcomed all Dignitaries with heartfelt performances, speeches, and tokens of gratitude, demonstrating their appreciation and respect.
In her address, Professor Rasmita Das Swain expressed her pride in witnessing the inauguration of the new school campus, calling it a significant milestone in the institution's journey. She also praised DIG NKR Baramulla for his swift action in relocating the school from the District Police Lines (DPL). The Chairperson highlighted the importance of providing a safe, child-friendly learning environment and emphasized that the new campus would enable the students to access quality education and the necessary resources to excel.
Professor Rasmita Das Swain, further encouraged the teachers to focus on improving the academic performance of the students by delivering quality education and moral values, and by engaging them in extracurricular activities. She also assured the students that the school would provide them with modern educational tools and equipment to support their learning.

SP Shri Mushtaq Ahmad), Dy. SP Hqrs (Shri Mohammad Altaf JKPS), Nodal Officer PPS Baramulla (Dy. SP DAR Baramulla Shri Ajay Kumar) and other dignitaries. In recognition and commitment of staff, Administrative officer PPS Baramulla distributed Appreciation certificates among all the teachers of this school, commanding their tireless efforts in educating young minds. Speaking on the occasion, he loved the role of teachers in building a progressive society and highlighted their crucial role in moulding the leaders of tomorrow. Incharge Principal PPS Baramulla, Smt. Abida Majeed in her address, expressed profound gratitude towards the teaching staff and emphasized the vital role that teachers played in the society. Baramulla, 29th June 2024: Prof. Rasmita Das Swain, the esteemed Chairperson of the J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA) and the Management Committee of Police Public Schools, conducted an official visit to Police Public School Baramulla today. She was accompanied by senior PWWA members for this significant visit.
