*Report on Parent Teacher Meet at PM SHRI Govt. Higher Secondary School Pahlipora*
A Parent Teacher Meet (PTM) was successfully conducted today at PM SHRI Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pahlipora, with the active participation of parents, teachers, and community members. The Chief Guest of the programme was Mr. Ashok Kumar Raina, Principal DIET Sopore. The event was also graced by Mr. Javid Ahmad Lone, HOD DIET Sopore, along with senior lecturers from DIET Sopore.Zonal Education Officer Boniyar attended the event as Special Guest.
In addition to the dignitaries, the programme was attended by SMDC members and a large gathering of parents and students. The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Tariq Ahmad Mir, Senior Lecturer, HSS Pahlipora, who warmly greeted the guests and set a positive tone for the day.
A variety of cultural performances by the students added colour and vibrancy to the occasion, showcasing the talent and creativity nurtured within the school. During the event, inspiring speeches were delivered by Principal DIET Sopore, HOD DIET Sopore, SMDC members, and some parents, all emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the school and the community in shaping the students’ academic and personal growth.
The concluding speech was delivered by Mr. Mohd Abas Dar, Principal HSS Pahlipora, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and staff members for making the event a success. He also highlighted the school’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering all-round development.
After the formal programme, parents interacted with the concerned teachers to discuss their wards’ academic performance, progress, and areas for improvement. The interaction proved to be highly productive and strengthened the bond between the school and the parent community.
