*Report on Parent Teacher Meet at PM SHRI Govt. Higher Secondary School Pahlipora*

A Parent Teacher Meet (PTM) was successfully conducted today at PM SHRI Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pahlipora, with the active participation of parents, teachers, and community members. The Chief Guest of the programme was Mr. Ashok Kumar Raina, Principal DIET Sopore. The event was also graced by Mr. Javid Ahmad Lone, HOD DIET Sopore, along with senior lecturers from DIET Sopore.Zonal Education Officer Boniyar attended the event as Special Guest.

In addition to the dignitaries, the programme was attended by SMDC members and a large gathering of parents and students. The event commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Tariq Ahmad Mir, Senior Lecturer, HSS Pahlipora, who warmly greeted the guests and set a positive tone for the day.

A variety of cultural performances by the students added colour and vibrancy to the occasion, showcasing the talent and creativity nurtured within the school. During the event, inspiring speeches were delivered by Principal DIET Sopore, HOD DIET Sopore, SMDC members, and some parents, all emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the school and the community in shaping the students’ academic and personal growth.

The concluding speech was delivered by Mr. Mohd Abas Dar, Principal HSS Pahlipora, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, and staff members for making the event a success. He also highlighted the school’s commitment to providing quality education and fostering all-round development.

After the formal programme, parents interacted with the concerned teachers to discuss their wards’ academic performance, progress, and areas for improvement. The interaction proved to be highly productive and strengthened the bond between the school and the parent community.

Report on Celebration of 5 Years of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020

To commemorate the successful implementation and completion of five years of the National Education Policy 2020, a grand programme was organised on 29th July 2025 at Cluster Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pahlipora. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and staff members of various High Schools and Middle Schools falling under the Cluster HSS Pahlipora.

Programme Highlights:

1. Inaugural Session:

The event commenced with a warm welcome of participating students and teachers from different schools. The school campus was beautifully decorated to mark the significance of the event.

2. Awareness Session on NEP 2020:

A comprehensive and insightful presentation on the National Education Policy 2020 was delivered by Mr. Tariq Ahmad Mir, Senior Lecturer of the host institution. He highlighted the key reforms introduced under NEP 2020, including:
• Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education
• Skill-based learning
• Vocational training integration
• Emphasis on critical thinking and creativity
• Use of technology in education
His address provided a deep understanding of how NEP 2020 aims to transform the Indian education system.

Following this, the Principal of HSS Pahlipora Mr Mohd Abas Dar also addressed the gathering. He elaborated on the vision and objectives of NEP 2020, and emphasized the role of schools and teachers in effectively implementing the policy. His speech was both motivating and enlightening for the audience.

3. Lab Visits and Demonstrations:

After the formal session, the visiting students were taken on a guided tour of the school’s various modern and innovative laboratories, which included:
• ICT (Information and Communication Technology) Lab
• ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab)
• STEM Lab
• AGHAAZ Lab

The incharges of each lab gave detailed demonstrations about the functioning and purpose of the equipment and experiments conducted in their respective labs. Students showed keen interest in the models and tools and asked questions, making the visit highly interactive and educational.

4. Student Interaction and Feedback:

At the end of the tour, students shared their experiences and feedback. Many of them expressed excitement and appreciation for the hands-on learning opportunities and innovative setups. They were inspired by the resources and expressed their desire for similar initiatives in their own schools.

A warm and heartfelt farewell was organized by the staff members of Government Higher Secondary School, Pahlipora, in honor of Mr. Hamidullah Ganai, Physical Education Master of the institution. Mr. Hamidullah Ganai, who has been a dedicated and highly respected member of the school. He has also been assigned the additional charge of Zonal Physical Education Officer, Boniyar.

The farewell ceremony was graced by several dignitaries, including Mr. Mohd Abas Dar, Principal of HSS Pahlipora, and Mr. Javid Ahmad Lone, Ex-DDO of the institution and presently Head of Department at DIET Sopore. Their presence added great significance to the event.

Members of the School Management and Development Committee (SMDC) also participated in the program, acknowledging Mr. Hamidullah Ganai’s outstanding contributions to the institution’s academic and extracurricular environment.

Speakers on the occasion highlighted Mr. Hamidullah Ganai’s commitment, professionalism, and the pivotal role he played in nurturing sports culture among students. Everyone extended their best wishes to him for success in his new responsibilities, expressing confidence that he would bring the same spirit of dedication and excellence to his new assignment.

Today on 26th April 2025, a painting competition was organized at PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School Pahlipora as part of the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from many students, who showcased their creativity and commitment to the theme of cleanliness through their vibrant artworks. The competition aimed to raise awareness about the importance of hygiene, sanitation, and a clean environment among the young generation. Students expressed their ideas through colorful and meaningful paintings, highlighting various aspects of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The event concluded with appreciation for all participants, encouraging them to continue promoting cleanliness in their surroundings.

Today on 22-04-2025 ,Eco club PM SHRI HSS PAHLIPORA organised Earth Day event today. Few speakers shared their views on use of renewable energy to save mother earth. The event culminated with Plantation Drive in which staff and Eco club members planted some conifers in the campus. QR code were also generated for five tree species growing within the campus.

Important meeting of all the Hoi's of High school and Middle School falling under the jurisdiction of HSS Pahlipora held on 17th of December 2022. Worthy principal HSS Pahlipora Mr Mohd Amin Khan also cluster Head as per NEP 2020 presided the meeting.worthy principal sb briefed all the Hoi's regarding recent order of clusters and provided all the guidelines mentioned in the order
