Inter-School Debate Competition Held at Baramulla Public School
Baramulla Public School successfully organized an Inter-School Debate Competition, witnessing participation from 13 educational institutions of Baramulla and Sopore. The event provided a platform for young debaters to showcase their public speaking, analytical and argumentative skills.
The programme was graced by *Mr. Sharjeel Abbas Khan, Principal, Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla, as the Chief Guest. The topics chosen for the debate competition were 1.Is Artificial intelligence helping or harming The students' creativity? 2. The traditional classrooms are obselete and should fully transition to school flipped learning.The competition was adjudicated by a panel of judges from SRM Welkin, Sanctorum Public School and Budding Bloom School.
In the 'For the Motion' category, SRM Welkin Sopore secured 1st position, Muslim Educational Trust (MET) Sopore secured 2nd position, while Baramulla Public School bagged 3rd position.
In the Against the Motion category, SRM Welkin Sopore again secured 1st position, followed by Budding Bloom School Baramulla in 2nd position and Baramulla Public School in 3rd position.
