Baramulla: Youth Empowerment Service (YES ) J&k was Awarded *Infotel Awards 2020* by Kashmir Tehalka for their extraordinary service in Youth Sector.
YES (Youth Empowerment Service) J&k is a fully youth-led Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) registered with Registrar of Societies J&k, founded in Baramulla District of J&k in 2015 with its prime focus on Youth.
It originated as a space where young people feel free to think, create and perform. YES works with young people for Psycho-Social Development. YES believe youth can and should act as an agents of Psycho-Social change and should promote moral values and respect for humanity.
Award ceremony was held at Sherwani Memorial Community Hall Baramulla and the awardees were felicitated by President EJAC.

The International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) is a day set aside by the United Nations (UN) to promote a global culture of risk-awareness and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).

IDDRR takes place on the 13th of October each year. This day is purposeful to show how people and communities around the world are reducing their exposure to disasters and raising awareness on the importance of reducing risks.

The quiz competition will allow learning and testing young people's knowledge on DRR and its linkage to Sustainable Development Goals.
