*Dear Parents*
We deeply value the well-being and growth of every child entrusted to our care. As part of our collective responsibility, our school provides a balanced and nutritious Mid-Day Meal (MDM) to support students’ physical and mental development. However, we have observed a concerning trend—many children are still bringing and consuming junk food during school hours.
We understand the convenience and appeal of packaged snacks and sugary treats, but it is important to recognize the long-term impact these foods can have on children's health. Frequent consumption of junk food has been linked to various health issues such as obesity, poor concentration, fatigue, early onset diabetes, and other lifestyle-related diseases.
The Mid-Day Meal program is carefully designed to meet the nutritional needs of growing children. By encouraging your child to eat the wholesome meals provided at school, you are not only supporting their health but also instilling lifelong habits of balanced eating.
We respectfully urge you to:
Avoid sending chips, candies, carbonated drinks, and other processed foods with your child.
Encourage your child to eat the nutritious meals prepared in school.
Promote healthy eating at home by involving your child in choosing and preparing simple, nourishing foods.
Let’s work together to create a healthier future for our children. Their success begins with good health—and good health begins with the right food.
With sincere regards,
Head Teacher
