During the visit to NIFT Srinagar, students explored various departments, design laboratories, and creative learning spaces where they gained valuable insights into fashion designing, textile technology, and modern educational practices. Faculty members at the institute interacted with the students and motivated them to pursue innovative and skill-based education.

The students also visited SPS Museum Srinagar where they observed historical artifacts, cultural treasures, and rare collections reflecting the rich heritage and history of Jammu and Kashmir. The museum visit proved highly informative and helped students develop awareness regarding the preservation of culture and history.

The Head of Institution appreciated the efforts of the staff members for successfully organizing the educational tour and stated that such exposure visits play an important role in enhancing students’ confidence, creativity, and practical understanding beyond classroom learning. PM SHRI Government Girls High School Fatehgarh Organizes Bal Sansad Session

Fatehgarh, May 2, 2026: On the same day as the Presidential Elections 2026, PM SHRI Government Girls High School Fatehgarh also organized a Bal Sansad session to encourage democratic participation and leadership among students.

PM SHRI GHS Fatehgarh Organizes Awareness Program under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan

16 April 2026: Fatehgarh, Baramulla: PM SHRI Government High School Fatehgarh today organized an awareness program on the theme “Say No to Drugs” under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The program aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to promote a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among the youth.

All students and teachers of the institution actively participated in the program with great enthusiasm. The event included awareness speeches, discussions, and interactive sessions highlighting the physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse. Students were encouraged to take a pledge to stay away from drugs and to spread awareness in their communities.
