Today Rose House in collaboration with Urdu Deptt.and Sports Deptt. organised "Bait Bazi or Antaksheri programme "in the school auditorium under chaiperson ship of Principal Madam.The contest was between 11th and 12th.The11th class students secured 18 Marks out 20 and 12th class students secured 20 marks out of 20 and were declared heros of the event.
Principal Madam, PoonamMam,Iqbal Sir( Hindi ),Shafeeqa Mam, Aliya Mam ,Sandeep Mam,Mushtaq Sir and me (Bilal Ahmad) distributed certificates and awards among the participants.
At last Principal Mam delivered a precise speech and highlighted the significance of such events in the institution. We the members of Rose House thank all staff members who participated in event on behalf of our Naheed Madam (Head of the Rose House)for making this event a success.

*Government Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla* organized a Drug De-addiction and Career Counseling Program on Thursday, June 9th. *District Development Commissioner Baramulla Dr. Saeed Sehrish Asghar* was Chief Guest and Mr. Tauseef Raina Chairman Municipal Council Baramulla, participated in the program as Guest of Honour. The Chief Education Officer Baramulla Mr. G.M Lone (National Awardee) delivered the welcome address. In which he informed the Madam about the education sector. Addressing the students, Dy. Commissioner Baramulla urged them to choose their career as challenge and move on. She said that after defeat, addiction is not a cure but success with hard work and dedication is the only cure. Keep yourself and others away from this addiction. At the end, Madam answered the questions asked by the various students. Speakers included Chairman Municipal Council Baramulla Mr. Tauseef Reena, Dr. Chalko H.O.D Physics higher education deptt., Team of District Police Baramulla , Cultural Education Wing CEO Baramulla gave their precious suggestions to the students. At the end, Principal Government Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla Ms.Dalvinder Kour thanked all the guests including D.C Baramulla who took some of their precious time today for my students. At the same time, she thanked the efforts and hard work of all the staff members, especially the students, for their cooperation to make this programme successful.

Elections for Head Girl, Deputy Head Girl, Secretary and Deputy Secretary were held at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Baramulla on Thursday, June 2, 2022. In which Students participated enthusiastically . The students were also trained on how to use your vote. Official election staff were deployed in the election. With the collaboration of the Electoral Literacy Club and the Sports Department of the school under the Chairmanship of Principal Ms Dalwinder Kaur, who was working in as ARO, it was completed in a very efficient manner. At the end, Principal Ma'am thanked the election staff, contesting candidates and especially the winning candidates & students who cast their vote which was their fundamental right in democracy.

Today on 01-06-22 GHSS baramulla conducted a cleanliness drive activity under plastic waste management to stop plastic pollution and to protect our water bodies from plastic waste. Worthy principal smt. Dalvinder kour kick started this activity along with PW management members and students. The students actively participated in this cleanliness drive.

It is once again a proud moment for the school as our students have brought laurels by bagging first and second position in the recently concluded inter school Naat and chess competition held at BMS khawajha bagh on 22nd of april 2022...

*In the ongoing Zonal level Inter School Chess Championship held at BHS Khawaja Bagh. One of our Student *Supreet Kour of 11th class (Arts) got Second Position*. The event was organised by Youth Services & Sports department Zone Baramulla

One of our students namely Zeenat Altaf of class 12th has secured 1st position in the Zonal Level Naat Competition today. The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports at Islamia High School Baramulla.

Today's Morning Assembly, students being felicitated for participating and standing out victoriously in the Zonal Level Cross Country Running & Painting competitions organised by Department of Youth Services & Sports, zone Baramulla.

New School timing is 10:00 am to 04:00 pm

We proudly announce securing 02 Gold, 02 Silver and 01 Bronze medals in the road race that was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports Zone Baramulla today on 30 March 2022. We are proud of our students who stood out victoriously among around 200 participants.
