World Environment Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and active participation at our institution. The event saw the involvement of faculty members, students, and various stakeholders, all united under a common goal—to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainable living.

The celebration began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of World Environment Day and this year’s theme. Various activities such as tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, poster-making competitions, and awareness rallies were organized. Students displayed immense creativity and concern for the environment through their slogans, banners, and speeches.

Key messages like "Save Environment, Save Earth", "Go Green, Breathe Clean", and "Plant Trees, Secure the Future" resonated throughout the day. Faculty members shared insights on how individual and collective efforts can make a significant impact on conserving natural resources.

Earth Day Celebrated at HSS Pahlipora, Zone Boniyar

Earth Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and active participation at HSS Pahlipora, Zone Boniyar, on 22nd April 2025. The event saw the involvement of all teaching staff, students, and members of the Health Department.

Mr. Hamidullah Ganaie Sb, ZEPO Boniyar from the Department of Youth Services and Sports, graced the occasion and highlighted the importance of environmental preservation, sustainable development, and plantation. His address inspired students and staff alike to take meaningful steps towards protecting the environment.

The program included awareness speeches, plantation drives, and a cleanliness campaign, all aimed at fostering a sense of environmental responsibility among students and the local community.

Today on 9th of April,Government Higher Secondary School Pahlipora, organized a commendable event under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan to raise awareness about the ill effects of drug abuse and smoking. The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Mr. Mohammad Abbas Dar, who emphasized the importance of a drug-free society.

The program was graced by several dignitaries, including Mr. Hamidullah Ganaie Sb, Zonal Physical Education Officer, Zone Boniyar, Department of Youth Services and Sports; Dr. Hilal Ahmad, from PHC Boniyar; ASI Abdul Ahad Mir, Police Station Boniyar; and Mr. Javaid Ahmad Mir, Lecturer in Zoology.

Each speaker highlighted the pros and cons of drug addiction and elaborated on the devastating consequences of substance abuse and smoking on individuals and society. Their valuable insights and motivational speeches encouraged students and the community to stay away from harmful substances and lead a healthy, productive life.

The event concluded with a pledge by the participants to spread awareness and contribute to building a drug-free nation.
