कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेच्या नवकल्पनांमुळे बारामती कृषी विकास ट्रस्टला बोस्टनमधील आंतरराष्ट्रीय परिषदेत जागतिक सन्मान; ‘भविष्यातील शेती’ प्रकल्प जागतिक आदर्श म्हणून गौरवला..

बारामती : कृत्रिम बुध्दीमत्ता (एआय) क्षेत्रातील नाविन्यपूर्ण संशोधन व उद्योगातील वापर या विषयावर अमेरिकेतील बोस्टनमध्ये आयोजित आंतरराष्ट्रीय परिषदेत बारामतीच्या अँग्रिकल्चरल डेव्हलपमेंट ट्रस्टला जागतिक स्तरावर विशेष सन्मानाने गौरविण्यात आले.
आयबीएमच्या वॉटसन संशोधन केंद्र आणि मॅस्यूसेटस इन्स्टिटयूट ऑफ टेक्नॉलॉजी (MIT) या जागतिक दर्जाच्या तंत्रज्ञान विद्यापीठात पार पडली. या परिषदेत एआय आधारित उद्योगांचे भविष्य, नाविन्यपूर्ण संकल्पनांची प्रत्यक्ष अंमलबजावणी आणि उद्योजकीय नेतृत्व यावर सखोल चर्चा झाली.

कृषी क्षेत्रात कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्तेचा प्रभावी वापर केल्याबद्दल कृषी विकास ट्रस्टला हा सन्मान प्रदान करण्यात आला. संस्थेचे मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी प्रा. नीलेश नलावडे यांनी संस्थेच्या वतीने पुरस्कार स्वीकारला. या वाटचालीत संस्थेस मोलाचे सहकार्य करणारे ऑक्सफर्ड विद्यापीठाचे अजित जावकर, रणवीर चंद्रा यांनाही सन्मानित केले गेले.

परिषदेत मॅथियस फिन्क यांनी “तफावत ओळखा” या विषयावर मार्गदर्शन करताना उद्योगातील एआय अंमलबजावणी का रखडते यावर प्रकाश टाकला. ते म्हणाले, एआयचे औद्योगिकीकरण करताना सर्व डेटा एकत्रित वापरण्याची पद्धत (डेटा फॅब्रिक), पारदर्शकता व नियमांचे पालन (एआय प्रशासन) आणि सर्वत्र वापरता येणारी मॉडेल्स (स्केलेबल मॉडेल्स) यावर भर देण्याची गरज त्यांनी व्यक्त केली.
या प्रसंगी सेठ गोल्डनबर्ग यांनी “डिझाइन विचारसरणी हा दुवा” या विषयावर सादरीकरण केले. परिषदेदरम्यान सहभागी तज्ज्ञांना एमआयटी म्युझियम येथील संशोधन संग्रहालयास भेट देण्याची संधी मिळाली.

मायक्रोसॉफ्टच्या वॉशिंग्टन डीसी येथील कृषी एआय संशोधनानंतर बारामतीतील ‘भविष्यातील शेती’ प्रकल्पाने जागतिक स्तरावर आदर्श निर्माण केल्याचे आनंद माहुरकर यांनी नमूद केले.

कृषी क्षेत्रात कृत्रीम बुध्दीमत्तेचा वापर व्हावा या साठी सर्वप्रथम प्रतापराव पवार यांनी डॉ. अजित जावकर यांच्यासमवेत प्रयत्न सुरु केले आणि आज या तंत्रज्ञानाचा व्यापक विस्तार होत आहे. शेतक-यांसाठी आगामी काळात हे तंत्रज्ञान वरदान ठरणार आहे यात शंका नसल्याचे नीलेश नलावडे यांनी नमूद केले.
