INAUGURATION OF VARDHAMAN MAHAVIR OPEN UNIVERSITY STUDY CENTRE AT NEW LOOK COLLEGE

New Look Girls PG College, Lodha, proudly inaugurated the Vardhaman Mahavir Open University (VMOU), Kota, study centre on its premises. The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests and marked a significant milestone in the institution's pursuit of academic excellence.

Chief Guest, Dr. MP Singh Rao, Academic Council Member of VMOU, inaugurated the study centre. Dr. Pradeep Kothari, Director of New Look Group, presided over the ceremony. Deep Kothari, Deputy Director of New Look Institutions, was also in attendance.

In his inaugural address, Dr. Rao emphasized the significance of establishing VMOU study centres in educational institutions. He stated, "This initiative enables students to pursue dual degree courses, enhancing their academic prospects and employability."

Dr. Pradeep Kothari congratulated Dr. Rao on his appointment as an Academic Council Member of VMOU. He expressed his commitment to fostering academic innovation and excellence, stating, "Our institution remains dedicated to providing students with opportunities for holistic growth and development."

College Principal, Dr. Sushil Sompura, welcomed the guests and highlighted the benefits of the study centre. He said, "The establishment of this centre enables our students to access VMOU's academic programmes, guidance, and counseling services within our campus."

The ceremony concluded with a felicitation of Dr. Rao by Deputy Director Deep Kothari. Dr. Rajeev Gandhi expertly moderated the programme.

This significant development underscores New Look College's commitment to providing students with diverse academic opportunities, empowering them to achieve excellence in their chosen fields.

New Look Celebrates NCC Foundation Day-Week with Blood Donation Drive

As part of the NCC Foundation Day-Week celebrations, NCC cadets from 5 (Raj) Battalion at New Look Girls' College, inspired by ANOs Mr. Lalit Kumar Pal and Ms. Tripti Sompura, organized a blood donation drive. The event successfully collected 10 units of blood, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation.

The program was attended by distinguished guests, including Dr. Pradeep Kothari, Director, New Look Group of Institutions; Mr. Deep Kothari, Deputy Director; Mr. Rahul Saraf and Mr. Neelesh Seth from the Red Cross Society; and Dr. Sushil Sompura, Principal, New Look Girls' College.

This initiative demonstrated the commitment of New Look's NCC cadets to social responsibility and community service.

Flameless Cooking
A flameless cooking competition, also commonly known as fireless cooking, was organized by the Department of Home Science and Eco at New Look Girl’s PG College, Lodha, under the guidance and supervision of Ms. Sonam Kalra Ms. Sonal trivedi, Lecturer in Home Science, on Saturday, November 23, 2024. It is an immense pleasure to disclose that a good number of students participated in this competition with great enthusiasm. The fireless cooking competition was specifically organized for the students to display their cooking skills without any fear of fire. Dishes based on a variety of techniques, such as marinating, curing, pickling, and fermenting, were prepared by the students. All the delicious dishes were judged by the esteemed judges, Varsha Nagpal Ma'am and Manpreet Kaur ma'am. The best two entries were Pan Short and Pudding.
