The Annual Examination 2026 of BANSBERIA NRITYALA was successfully conducted on 19 July 2026 at our studio.

Despite several students and teachers being unwell, the examination was conducted smoothly through everyone's dedication, discipline, and collective effort. The commitment shown by every student and teacher throughout the day is truly commendable.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to all the parents and guardians whose constant cooperation, encouragement, and trust made the entire process possible. Your unwavering support, especially during challenging times, continues to strengthen the BANSBERIA NRITYALA family.

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our students from Bansberia Nrityala.

Sansh*ta Sengupta secured 1st Position in the Districtwise Online Cultural Competition (Subject: Kathak Dance, Group-B).

Aratrika De secured 3rd Position in the Summer Online Classical Dance Talent Hunt 2026 – Season 2 (Category: Kathak – Under 12 Years).

These accomplishments are a reflection of their dedication, discipline, and sincere love for the art of dance. We are proud to see our students growing not only as performers but also as individuals who carry forward the values of our classical traditions.

A special word of gratitude to their parents and guardians whose constant encouragement, sacrifices, and commitment ensure that the arts continue to be valued, respected, and nurtured in the younger generation. Your support plays an invaluable role in every step of their journey.

Bansberia Nrityala successfully curated and concluded an evening of theatre and dance yesterday with the financial assistance of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and National School of Drama.

The evening opened with “Kaal Roop – Time Bearing the Terrible Face”, a solo Kathak presentation by Bishal Dutta, exploring the fierce and transformative dimensions of time through movement and expression.

The second presentation of the evening featured the invited theatre group, Raghunathganj Theatre Group, who presented the one-act play “Ghore Phera”, written and directed by Swapan Das.

The concluding performance of the evening was “Meera_atmani”, a new dance production by Bansberia Nrityala, choreographed by Bishal Dutta and performed by the students of the institution.

The production marked its premiere presentation on stage yesterday and received warm appreciation from the audience.
The evening concluded successfully with enthusiastic audience response and artistic exchange between dance and theatre traditions.

Curated by Bansberia Nrityalay , UNSCRIPTED is envisioned as a space for artistic dialogue — where classical movement vocabulary, dramatic storytelling and contemporary stage thought come together in one shared experience.
With the financial assistance of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Sangeet Natak Akademi, and National School of Drama, we invite you to witness an evening of dance and theatre presentations rooted in emotion, experimentation and performance aesthetics.
