Community Retreat 🍃

The WASH Project, through SIBS and Anandgiri, facilitated the installation of an RO plant in Mitiganahalli village. The village had been without a functional RO plant for approximately 7–8 years. During this period, neither political representatives nor the Gram Panchayat had taken any significant initiative to address the issue.

Considering the difficulties faced by the villagers due to the lack of safe drinking water, the WASH Project, with the support of local leaders and the Gram Panchayat, took the initiative to install a new RO plant in the village.

The inauguration ceremony was successfully conducted in the presence of the chief guests, including Mr. Javare Gowda, PDO of Takkal Gram Panchayat; Rev. Dr. Simon Jothi, Executive Secretary of SIBS; Dr. Ipetlung Lungalang, Principal of SIBS; former Gram Panchayat presidents and members; as well as village elders and community members.

The villagers expressed their happiness and appreciation for the initiative. The installation of the RO plant has created a significant and historic milestone for the village, providing the community with improved access to safe and clean drinking water.

On 11 August 2026, Chairman Rev. Dr. Sunil Dandge, Rev. Dr. Simon Jothi, Executive Secretary, SIBS Ministries, along with the National Director, VBS, and Interim Principal, SIBS, visited the Overhead Tank Construction Site to review the progress of this important development.

🏗️ Ground Breaking Ceremony – Water Tank Construction 💧

With grateful hearts, we thank God for His abundant grace as the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Water Tank Construction Project at South India Biblical Seminary, Anandagiri was successfully completed.

We extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Church of Nazarene WASH Project for their generous support in making this project possible.

We sincerely thank our Guest of Honour, Mrs. Nilima Victor, Treasurer – SIBS Ministries, for graciously breaking the ground and marking the beginning of this important project.

Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev. Dr. Simon Jothi, Executive Secretary (ES) – SIBS Ministries, for sharing about the project and leading the Prayer of Dedication, and to Dr. Ipetlung Lungalang, Interim Principal, for leading the ceremony.

May this initiative bring lasting blessings to the SIBS community and glorify God.
