This Teachers’ Day, our Freethinking team swapped lesson plans for mystery rooms, secret clues and some serious brain-teasing! 🕵️

From cracking codes to solving challenges, everyone had to think fast, work together and keep the laughter going! ⏰😂

And once we escaped… 🍽️
It was time for a hearty team lunch, endless conversations and plenty of memories to take home. ❤️

✨ **A Little Light Inside Me** ✨

Today, we got to know a very special lady who loved children with all her heart -
Dr. Maria Montessori 🌱💛

Our teachers wrote a beautiful little story about her life and shared it with us. As we listened, we discovered something magical: each one of us has a little light inside us! ✨

And do you know what makes our light shine brighter?

🌟 When we 'try something new'
🤝 When we 'help our friends'
💡 When we 'freethink for ourselves'
🌱 When we 'keep trying'
💛 And when 'we work together peacefully'

We realised that independence isn't just about doing things alone. It is about having the confidence to say:

“Let me try!”
“I can do it!”
“I can do it myself!” 🙌

And that is exactly what Dr Montessori dreamed for every child - a child who is 'confident, capable, curious, and free to discover what they can do.'

So today, we didn't just hear about her dream...

WE LIVE IT AND FLOURISH ✨

🌿✨ **From the Classroom to the Great Outdoors!** ✨🌿

What better way to bring learning to life than by stepping into nature itself? 💚

Our little Freethinkers had a delightful field trip to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, where classroom conversations came alive all around them! 🌳🦋🐦

With curious eyes and eager minds, they explored Land and Water forms, spotted Animals, Birds and Tiny Bugs, and discovered the many wonders of the natural world. 🌎

And then came a wonderful connection to something they had learned just yesterday—the beautiful Bonsai Garden, introducing them to a fascinating art form from Japan. 🇯🇵🌱 Seeing it in person made the learning meaningful, memorable and exciting!

For our little Freethinkers, this was more than a field trip—it was an opportunity to Observe, Discover, Make Connections and Learn through direct experience. 🌿✨

A joyful day of exploration, wonder and purposeful learning! 💚

Show and tell couldn’t have been more fun yet meaningful. I got to dress in my Sunday best and describe it to my friends. I learnt about different states and how some of our clothes represented the traditions of our states. Learning in the true freethinking way is what we witnessed today and what fun it was...

I was enlightened on how my favourite outfit gets made. Right from the fabric to the finished garment. I learnt about a spool of thread and a roll of fabric. I touched and felt some silky, shiny and smooth fabrics. I even met a tailor who showed us how to use the sewing machine.I tried out quite a few and realised that credit is due to the efforts that go into making my favourite set of clothes.
