Namami Bharatam – 150 Years of Vande Mataram 🇮🇳

Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, Hulimangala, Electronic City, Bengaluru, participated in “Namami Bharatam – 150 Years of Vande Mataram,”on Friday, 25th September 2026. The programme was held as part of the nationwide Samuhika Gayana, bringing students and staff together to honour the enduring legacy of the National Song of Bharat, Vande Mataram.

The programme began with a prayer and floral tribute to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, commemorating his ideals and contributions to the nation. This was followed by the hoisting of the National Flag by Upa Pradhanacharya Smt. Tamsa Panigrahi and Administrator Sri Anand, followed by the rendition of the National Anthem.

At 11:00 a.m., students and staff participated in the nationwide Samuhika Gayana of Vande Mataram, joining voices with people across the nation in a collective expression of patriotism and national pride.

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Smt. Puneetha. The celebration served as a meaningful tribute to the 150-year legacy of Vande Mataram, while fostering a spirit of unity, patriotism, and devotion to the nation.
