g programs designed to bond children to books and enhance their learning by discovering facts, become confident thinkers and communicators, and learn life lessons and build a desire to learn new skills. Our reading network for children, aims to get children rooted in books. A weekly program ensures a delightful reading experience through dramatic and interactive reading while also encouraging creative thinking through games, art & craft, vocabulary builders and other exciting activities. We also offer guided reading programs to children who want to increase their reading proficiency and their enjoyment of reading by encountering diversity in their reading material. Beginning to Read (Seedlings) -
This program is for very young children who are eager to begin reading and listening to stories. This is a Parent & Child Reading program for 2 - 3.5 year olds. Learning to Read (Buds) -
This program is for children who recognize familiar words and can read new words with help, for 3.5 - 5 year olds
Reading Independently (Blossoms) -
This program is for children who are ready to read on their own, generally for 6 - 8 year olds. Reading Proficiently (Mighty Oaks)-
This is a guided reading program for children who can read with confidence. The program schedules reads and will encourage children to read, review and discuss books that they read as a group. This is for 8 - 12 year olds. Benefits of Reading -
