Welcome to Neev Academy! We are a full continuum International Baccalaureate® (IB) school with an option of middle school ICSE.

Neev is a young, dynamic IB world school that aims to set the benchmark for excellence in children’s education in Bangalore and India. One of many steps our school is taking is to nurture a holistic environment where children can thrive.

10 years! Countless stories! One heart! ❤️

For weeks, Neev has been buzzing with the quiet magic of stories and it's building to something special.

Our Early Years campus have been part of the magic too - parent Mystery Readers welcoming children in the morning, a Family Reading Photograph wall, grandparents narrating favourite folktales, home-language storytelling sessions, a “Dress Like a Character” parade and little hands busy with bookmark-making.

Mornings at the Academy have meant classroom circles where students and teachers shared the books and stories that left a mark on their hearts. Our PYP corners came alive with reading nooks and students reading fervently. Parents have stepped in to read aloud, and our youngest learners have soaked up every word.

Our MYP artists have transformed the school entrance into an installation titled The Power of Storytelling, a tribute to how stories bridge our past, present, and future.

And in a full-circle moment, our G12 students, the oldest Neevites, have spent time revisiting the children's books that once shaped them, to understand the art of illustration and why these "simple" books hold such depth.

Beyond the classrooms, students have taken the lead in bringing this festival to life -decorating the school, driving registrations, running the show on social media, and gearing up to host sessions on the big day itself.

Ten years of celebrating the books that shape us. 📚

Game Day at Neev - Grade 4 to 6

Each sport this week became its own little world of effort, nerves, laughter, and breakthrough moments. But look closely, Game Day for Grade 4-6 was never just about who touched the wall first or crossed the line ahead.

Sport is one of the most powerful classrooms we have, not because it builds fitness, but because it builds people. Every run, every missed shot taken again, every teammate cheered on from the sidelines was a lesson in showing up: for your house, for your team, and for yourself.

That's what inter-house competition at Neev is really about, not creating elite athletes, but growing students who are humble enough to keep learning, nimble enough to adapt, and hungry enough to keep improving. Students who understand that excellence isn't about having every advantage, it's about commitment, effort, and getting back up when the race doesn't go your way.

Proud of every student who competed, cheered, and grew a little more this week.

On Teachers' Day, we paused to celebrate the people who shape Neev, every single day.

From celebrating the ones who've contributed to a decade of learning at Neev, to a heartfelt address from our Founder, Ms Kavita Gupta Sabharwal, on what it truly means to be "a teacher changing India", the day was full of gratitude, reflection, and (of course) some well-deserved fun and good food!

As Ms Kavita reminded us: "The space for creativity, daring, and heart emerges on a bed of values, routines, and rituals." Our teachers don't just impart knowledge; they nurture the intuition, courage, and character that will shape the world our students go on to build.

To every Neev educator, thank you for embracing the mandatory with discipline and the extraordinary with heart.

Some wins stay with you, not just for the trophy, but for everything it took to get there.

Congratulations to Ishaan, Vihaan, and Haya (Gr 8), our junior debate team, for winning the Junior English Debating Society Invitational Cup (JEDI) 2026, held at The Doon School, Dehradun!

The youngest team in the room, going up against seasoned debaters on motions about culture, values, careers, and the choices that shape a life, and they didn't lose a single round!!!

This is what Neev's Debate Club is built for: not just teaching students to argue well, but to question assumptions, evaluate evidence, and articulate diverse perspectives with empathy. Engaging in respectful disagreement while speaking with clarity, integrity, and intellectual rigour, even when the motion is hard, even when the room is bigger than them.

Aikyam 2026: Unity in Action 🫶🏻

We often talk about leadership as something students grow into someday.

But what if it’s less about waiting… and more about the conditions we create for it to show up now?

Aikyam gave 800+ students from 21 schools a reason to gather.
But it gave our Grade 12 Neevites something bigger — a stage to lead on.

They planned it.
They organised it.
They carried it, through two full days, start to finish.

Not because someone told them to.
But because they were trusted to.

Leadership doesn’t grow in environments of control or constant oversight.

It grows where there’s trust.
Ownership.
Room to fail.
Room to figure it out.
Room to lead.

That’s the spirit of Aikyam. That’s the spirit of Neev.

A proud moment for Neev!

We’re thrilled to celebrate Ranveer Parihar, who has secured 51st place globally, a spot among the Top 100 students worldwide, in the Sir Isaac Newton (SIN) Contest 2026, conducted by the Department of Physics & Astronomy at the University of Waterloo, Canada.
The Sir Isaac Newton (SIN) Contest is an internationally recognized Physics competition that challenges high school students to think beyond the classroom. Through engaging and conceptually rich problems, the contest encourages analytical thinking, scientific curiosity, and a genuine appreciation for Physics.

Ranveer has always had a sharp, organized mind and a natural pull toward STEM; the kind of curiosity that keeps asking “how does this work?” until it finds an answer. His Personal Project on Maglev (magnetic levitation) technology reflected deep research, disciplined thinking, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. Eureka, Neev’s flagship science competition for grades 6-8, was also an opportunity for him to apply theory to real-world problems with confidence and rigor.

This is exactly what we aim to build at Neev: curious, resilient learners with the space and platforms to chase big questions and turn them into real work.

IDEAS@NEEV 2026–27 | The Symphony of Constitutions and Democracy

We were honoured to host Dr. Ornit Shani (University of Haifa) for an engaging session on how ordinary Indians shaped the Constitution through rare archival letters.

Three key takeaways:

* Democracy first: Universal adult franchise was adopted in 1947, before the Constitution came into force, making India the world’s largest democracy from the very beginning.
* A people’s Constitution: Letters and petitions from ordinary citizens influenced the constitutional process, making it a truly public document.
* Citizenship in action: The archives showed that democracy goes beyond voting—it depends on participation, access, and active citizenship.

A powerful conversation on identity, democracy, and the voices that helped build India’s Constitution.
