This Earth Day, we look beyond the surface of the Earth… and into its story. 🌍

From a fiery beginning to a beautifully ordered structure, the Earth reveals a powerful truth: everything finds its place. The densest materials sink, the lightest rise; forming the layers that make life possible.

In the Montessori Elementary years, children are not just given facts; they are given keys to the universe. Through stories of the Earth’s formation, they begin to see what cannot be seen… to imagine what lies beneath their feet.

Utkal Diwas, observed on 1st April, marks the formation of Odisha as a separate province in 1936 during British rule. Before this, Odia-speaking regions were divided across different presidencies such as Bengal and Madras.

The creation of Odisha is an important milestone in India’s political and linguistic history. It highlights how language played a key role in shaping regional identity and administration long before the linguistic reorganisation of states in 1956.
