Green Eden Public School (GEPS) hosted "ULIPUS Skill Darbar", a special event to recognize the achievements of its students, awarding ULIPUS certificates to outstanding performers. The event showcased the school's commitment to fostering talent and encouraging students to excel.
Kumari Tanmaya (Grade 6) anchored the event, followed by a welcome speech by Kumari Parintha (Grade 6). Kumari Jithya (Grade 5) highlighted the importance of ULIPUS in GEPS, and the management praised students' efforts, encouraging them to strive for excellence.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2026
Green Eden Public School and PU College celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pomp and patriotism on January 26, 2026. The theme for the year was "150 Years of Vande Mataram", commemorating the iconic national song that fueled India's freedom struggle.
The event was anchored by Mrs. Trella, who set the tone for a day filled with patriotism and pride. The program began with the flag hoisting ceremony, where our Secretary, Mr. Dinesh Kumar, unfurled the national flag. The entire school joined in singing the National Anthem, "Jana Gana Mana", followed by the singing of Vande Mataram, marking 150 years of this iconic song.
The introduction to Republic Day was given, highlighting the significance of January 26, 1950, when India's Constitution came into effect, transforming the nation into a sovereign, democratic republic. This was followed by a beautiful invocation song by our students, setting a reflective tone for the celebrations.
Rajeshwari ma'am delivered the welcome speech, emphasizing the importance of Republic Day and inspiring students to uphold the values of justice, equality, and fraternity.
The students showcased their talents with speeches and performances. Varsha from Grade 8 spoke on the theme of the year, "150 Years of Vande Mataram". Supriya from Grade 9 shared her thoughts on "Youth as Catalysts for a New India" highlighting the role of young minds in shaping the nation's future.
The cultural program was a vibrant showcase of India's rich heritage, with performances depicting various cultures, traditions, from the country.
The program concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Ms. Anusha ma'am, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event memorable.
As we wrapped up, we remembered Mahatma Gandhi's words: "My life is my message." The celebrations instilled a sense of patriotism, unity, and pride in every student. With this, we concluded our Republic Day celebrations, striving for a united and prosperous India!

*Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration 2025
On August 25, 2025, Green Eden Public School celebrated the auspicious festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm and devotion. The event was graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Vedavathi. MV, School Secretary Mr. D.M Dinesh Kumar, School Administrator Mrs. Sree Geetha Ma'am, and Vice Principal Mrs. Sowmya. M.
The ceremony began with a heartfelt invocation song by students of Grade 1 and 2, setting a spiritual tone for the celebration. The host, Mrs. M. Bhagyalakshmi, welcomed everyone and shared the significance of Ganesh Chaturthi, highlighting Lord Ganesha's role as the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and prosperity.
The story of Lord Ganesha's birth was narrated, teaching students the values of devotion, duty, and respect for all forms of life. While the Ganapati Pooja ceremony was performed; the Principal, teachers, and student representatives participated, thus seeking blessings for peace, wisdom, and prosperity.
The celebration continued with vibrant dance performances and skit by students of Grades 3-7, showcasing the story of Ganesha's birth and his divine wisdom.
A group song performance by Grades 1-7 students filled the air with melody and devotion. The event also included various creative activities for students. Grade 1 and 2 students showcased their artistic skills by making Ganesha models using air-dried clay sheets with pulses and cereals. Grade 3 and 4 students demonstrated their creativity through clay modeling. Meanwhile, Grade 5, 6, and 7 students exhibited their innovative side by creating wealth out of waste, using materials like straws and shells to make unique Ganesha models.
The event concluded with a gratitude note, thanking everyone for their participation and support. Prasadam distribution followed, symbolizing the sharing of blessings and joy.
The celebration ended with the chant of "Ganpati Bappa Morya," leaving everyone with a sense of positivity and devotion. The event was a success, thanks to the efforts of the cultural team, teachers, and students.
