Children’s Main Lesson Books in a Waldorf School✨. This video offers a gentle glimpse into our grade students’ Main Lesson notebooks and classwork, where learning unfolds through head, heart and hands.
In the Waldorf approach, notebooks are not simply records of lessons - they are handcrafted books of understanding. Through drawing, painting, form work, writing, and color, children engage deeply with each subject. Art is not added after learning; it becomes the way learning lives on the page.
Each notebook reflects a child’s unique rhythm - curiosity, effort, mistakes, imagination, and growth - woven together through daily practice. Over time, these pages become a visual story of how concepts are absorbed, expressed, and remembered.
We celebrate the process behind each page: the patience, consistency, and creativity that shape a child’s learning journey.
Thank you for being part of our learning community 🌿

Taralu Campus Pooja & Homa | A Heartfelt Gathering & New Beginning.
Wed, Dec 3, 2025 was the achievement of a milestone for all of us at Kingdom of Childhood.
We came together as a community to hold a traditional pooja at our new Taralu campus - a space that will soon be filled with children’s laughter & learning and where teachers stand together to commit to laying a strong foundation for every child.
Amidst a picturesque landscape, our school community came together to offer gratitude for the journey so far and seek blessings for the path ahead.
This land now holds our hopes, our dreams, and the promise of a beautiful future for our children.
Our heartfelt Thanks to everyone who has stood with us, supported us, and believed in this vision.
Here’s to new roots, new possibilities, and magical beginnings!!
When the community comes together, magic happens 🤝✨
Preparing our new campus with love, effort, and intention - for our children.
Movement as a Pedagogical and Therapeutical Tool At the Kingdom of Childhood, movement is more than exercise.
It’s a language of growth, balance, and healing.
From the playful rhythms of early childhood to the steady coordination of adolescence, each stage of Waldorf movement nurtures the child’s body, emotions, and inner world.
Through eurythmy, games, rhythm, and artistic movement, children learn to connect body, mind, and spirit – finding harmony within themselves and with the world around them.
Join us on this quiet journey of movement as therapy – from Kindergarten to Grade 10 – where learning flows, breath deepens, and every step becomes a path toward wholeness.
From Two Needles to Four: The Journey of Knitting in Waldorf Education | Kingdom of Childhood, Bangalore. At Kingdom of Childhood, handwork isn’t just an extra subject - it’s a journey of growing through our hands, hearts, and heads. 💛
From the soft rhythm of two needles in Grade 1 to the graceful dance of four needles in Grade 5, every stitch tells a story of patience, balance, and quiet joy.
By Grade 5, the children step into what we call the golden age of balance. As they knit in the round - making socks, mittens, or tiny dolls - their movements reflect the growing harmony within them. Their thinking, feeling, and willing begin to work beautifully together.
Through each project, they learn so much more than knitting - they discover perseverance, focus, and the deep joy of creating something with care and purpose.
At KoC, crafts like knitting, crochet, weaving, and sewing continue to nurture imagination, confidence, and the simple happiness of making something beautiful with one’s own hands. 🧶🌿
Grade 3 Farming Journey - Part 3 | Harvesting, Cooking, Sharing and Eating!!
Our Grade 3 farming journey reaches its most exciting stage - harvesting, cooking and eating time! 🌱
After sowing the seeds (Part 1) and nurturing the plants (Part 2), the children now reap fresh Ladies finger ( Bhindi), Radish (Mooli) and Greens (Palak) from their garden. Guided by their teacher and experts from Akshayakalpa, the children along with some parents, made the harvest a celebration of effort, learning, and gratitude. The grand finale was the cooking of Mooli Parathas, sharing with the entire school and enjoying their home grown and home cooked delicious meal!! Many thanks to Akshayakalpa for helping children learn about the importance of growing and consuming nutritious, organic food.

What a day to remember! 🌧️ At Lalbagh, we let go of schedules and simply lived in the moment. The children ran through the gardens, felt the raindrops on their faces, and laughed like the rain was just for them. 💚 There were muddy shoes, wet clothes, and endless giggles but most of all, there was joy. Sometimes, learning is not about books, it is about feeling life with all our senses. Nature served as a wonderful teacher for those few hours.🌿 Swipe through these little moments of pure joy we will treasure forever. ❤️

At first, there was hesitation. Tiny faces scrunched up, little hands tucked safely behind their backs. ‘Cow dung? Ewww!’ whispered some, while others giggled nervously. 💩
And honestly, can we blame them? For children, this was something unfamiliar, something they had never touched or smelled up close. It felt strange… and a little gross.
But then, something beautiful happened. Their teacher stepped in to lead the way – not just to explain, but to show. They knelt down, got their own hands muddy, and smiled, saying, ‘It’s okay, this is nature’s way of giving back.’
Slowly, curiosity peeked through those scrunched-up noses. One child stepped forward… then another. Laughter replaced hesitation, teamwork replaced fear. Together, they mixed, shaped, and understood that this simple act – handling cow dung to make manure – is an act of love for our Earth. 🌱
By the end, the same hands that once said ‘No way!’ were proudly helping create something that will nourish the soil and help plants grow. That’s the magic of real learning – when children discover that caring for nature can be messy, fun, and deeply rewarding. 💚
Here’s to turning ‘Ewww’ into ‘Wow!’ and raising a generation that works hand in hand with the Earth. 🌍✨
