On the occasion of , we united with fellow startups for a remarkable event on 23-08-2023. With over 30 innovative companies and 35 dedicated interns, Reva Nest continues to thrive as a hub of innovation.

Our Honorable Chairman, Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir, infused the event with energy and inspiration as he announced the exciting upcoming phases - the 2nd and 3rd - of Reva Nest. Joined by Dhanamjaya Sir, Vice Chancellor, and Pro Vice Chancellor Rajasekhar Sir, the event was graced by visionary perspectives.

The Ministry of MSME launched “MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0” (Theme based) under MSME Innovative Scheme (Incubation component) on 2nd October 2022. The MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0 are being invited to Students, Innovators, and MSME from all over India. Apply now to avail of financial Assistance up to a maximum of 15 lakhs for developing and nurturing the idea into a Prototype.

How to Start Consulting and freelancing Business

About the Event, Many will have an idea to start their own startup business. Few will succeed in it. They need mentoring and guidance to know about consulting and freelancing to succeed in their business. This seminar is all about encouraging students to start their own business with confidence and to tips to succeed in it. Mr. Akshay Rajashekharan is a well-known trainer and mentor for such aspirants.

REVA University in association with MoE, AICTE & IIC Organized Regional Meet 2022 on 16th August 2022.

It was a One-Day event with 600+ participants from various higher educational institutions all over Karnataka and nearby states. 68 innovation stalls with innovative projects of students/ alumni are also being invited in this meet to demonstrate and inspire future innovators. IIC institutions will also carry 110 Posters.

The outcome of the event was proved to be a grand confluence of ideas, innovations and insights, which echoed the essence of symbiosis by releasing all, are like one family with one or other connection to create ecosystem towards students and betterment to the society.

University-Industry Interaction Centre & REVA NEST, in association with Institutions Innovation Council, organized "Out of the box thinking for problem solving" on 28th June 2022.

Ministry of Education Innovation cell conducted this session with IIC faculty members, students, and staff. By thinking outside the box and questioning the status quo, you can improve an experience, product or service, allowing you to keep growing and can lead to intelligent and forward-thinking decisions in business.

Around 45 students from different schools participated in this event. The problem solving methods explained in this session, helped them in conversion of Ideas into product level.

REVA NEST in association with Nasscom Foundation organized “Induction & launching program of Cisco Thinqubator Cohort 5” on 10th June 2022.

Out of many ideas from different schools, one idea from ECE got selected and received a seed funding grant of 5 Lakhs from Cisco Thinqubator. In the continuation of this program in cohort 5, we received 40+ ideas from all different schools by registering for this program.

To give more details about this program, the Nasscom Thinqubator team was invited to visit our campus and conduct an offline session with registered participants and launch Cohort 5 officially. This session was very effective as it helped the participants to know more about the program and its benefits.

REVA NEST is happy to welcome DOM4U to the incubation center.

REVA University in association with ITM University organized a session on “How to plan for Start-up and legal & Ethical Steps” on 24th May 2022.

Dr. Srinath T L (Founder & CEO of GenoPhe Biotech Pvt. Ltd & REVA NEST Mentor of REVA University Bengaluru) conducted this session.

In this session, the Students learned the types of IPR and the process of patent filling. The speaker explained the roadmap to entrepreneurship, also while focusing on the difference between an entrepreneur and a corporate employer.

Around 45 participants from ITM University and other institutes participated in the virtual workshop where the speaker enlightened the audience by detailing the need of starting a start-up and making it sustainable.

REVA University in association with ITM University, organized a session on “Workshop on Prototype/Process Design and Development - Prototyping” on 23rd May 2022.

Dr. Kiran Kumari Patil, (Director – University-Industry Interaction Center at REVA University, Bengaluru) was the distinguished guest during this session.

Around 35 participants from ITM University and other institutes participated in this virtual workshop. The speaker enlightened the audience by detailing the process of prototyping, and explaining the concept of design thinking. The students learned the types of IPR and the process of patent filling.
