Vasan Dental Care
Part of the Vasan Health care group conducted a Dental check up camp at BET Institute of Management Studies on 25-06-2015. Faculty Members & Students Participated .

BET Institute of Management Studies encourages its students to be associated with various professional bodies and has joined hands with ERA (Executive Recruiters Association), Bangalore Chapter to provide career guidance to the students interested in pursuing a career in recruiting. They (ERA) conducted an awareness workshop for our students recently.

We at BET IMS appreciate and recognize the service rendered by ERA Bangalore Chapter to both the industry and the students community, we also take pride in supporting them in their endeavor. As a part of this initiative, ERA Skill Enhancement Training Program for Recruitment Professionals on Candidate Engagement, Series 1 was organized in our campus.

BET Institute of Management Studies encourages its students to do well in their studies and has constituted various scholarships for meritorious students. A scholarship of R.50,000/- was awarded to Ms Sukanya Raksh*t of II Sem MBA in recognition of her meritorious performance of obtaining ‘Composite Score’ of 753.5 and 98.71 Percentile in the MAT conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). She is seen receiving the scholarship from the Director, Major Bhargava.

JUNIORS VIRTUAL STUDY TOUR

“Change your location and you may just change yourself- Eric Weiner”

Today our seniors shared their experience, information and their knowledge with us about their study

trip. There were students who were accompanied by guide and staff. Study trip is a trip packed with

knowledge and fun. The duration of the trip was about six days (27.03.15-1.05.2015). Study tour

seemed to be a lot of fun when you enter in a foreign land, so did our seniors. They visited places in

Singapore and Malaysia like Singapore high, Santhosa Island, Genetic Island, Murugan temple, Kings

palace, Chocolate factory, Time Square mall, Patrajaya, etc. Words seem to be less to share their

experiences and fun was unlimited as they were with their friends. A sentence which I liked was, “It is

what people make the country” said by Vikas Maurya one of our senior who was talking about the

mannerism of the people in those places.

HRM CASE STUDY DISCUSSION WITH JAISHREE DESAI

' CHANGE THE 'M' OF ME TO 'W' OF WE FOR A TEAMWORK '

Today afternoon we had case study discussion as a team. We were divided into teams of 5.The various case studies given by Prof. jaishree desai were:
1) XYZ job analysis of fast food restaurant.
2) hrp at parfact service company..

We as a group performed our solutions in an innovative and creative manner.
Where few of the team made:
1)presentstion
2) role play
3) analysis on tge board

By the end of the session we as a class solved 3 cases and had different solution. We were appreciated by our professor for our performance and that was a good learning experience..
